SHARP SP1586 Technical Report

Date: Jun. 7, 1993
COPIER : SF-2022
1. DISCONTINUED USE OF THE SHIELD SHEET OWING TO A CHANGE IN THE OPTICAL BASEPLATE (TO PERMIT SHARED USE WITH SF-2035)
2. USE OF FAN SHIELDS, F AND R DUE TO SHARED USE WITH SF-2035
1. Discontinued use of the shield sheet owing to a change in the optical baseplate (to permit shared use with SF-2035)
1. Model name: SF-2022/2027
No. : SP-1586
2.General: While the use of the shield sheet was informed on SP-1557 to avoid contamination of the table glass reverse side with silicon oil gas, the use of the shield sheet will be discontinued to use since the round hole of the optical baseplate is removed after changing the press mold.
3.Reason: The hole is removed on the new press mold of the optical baseplate.
4.Description: As illustrated next, the use of the shield plate will not continue as the hole in the optical
baseplate is removed in the new press mold. However, M4 tap holes are added at four locations to allow shared use with SF-2035. The existing parts will continue to be supplied as the service parts.

2. Use of fan shields, F and R due to shared use with SF-2035
1.Model name: SF-2022/2027
2.General: While the fan shields, F and R, have been installed on the optical baseplate since the
first production unit of SF-2035, these have been used in SF-2022 and SF-2027. After these changes, the use of the flow control mylar, attached to the optical baseplate, and the fan mylar, attached to the fan motor, are discontinued.
3.Reason: It is to allow shared use with SF-2035.
4.Description: As the fan shields, F and R, are added on the paper exit side of the optical baseplate
and shield sheets (three) are added, the use of the flow control mylar and the fan mylar, attached on the front side of the fan motor, are discontinued.
