TROUBLESHOOTING APPEARANCE OF BLACK STREAK OWING TO A CLEANING FAILURE UNDER COLD TEMPERATURE
1.Model name: SF-9400/8870/8570/8800/8500
2.General: If less copies were produced and the machine was not used for a long period
for more than a year, the elasticity of the cleaning blade is affected to loose the drum contact pressure, and the blade hardens under a low temperature. This will cause to black streak t o appear. To avoid t his to oc cur, change is made to the blade material.

3.Reason: To avoid appearance of black streak due to a cleaning failur e under a l ow temperature.
4.Description: The cleaning blade material is replaced with the one that has less permanent distortion and strong i n its low temperature property (J type). To al low identification of the new type from the old type, a “J” is stamped after t he lot number. Change is also made to t he cleani ng blade inc luded in t he maintenance kit.
