1. Preventing damage in the paper leading edge by changing the structure of the fuser roller holding plate

2.General: To avoid possible scratching on the paper as the paper leading edge hits the fuser roller holding plate installed on the fuser unit upper pawl mounting bracket, change is made to the structure of the fuser roller holding plate.
3.Reason: To prevent damage on the paper leading edge.
4.Description: Change is made to the fuser roller holding plate as illustrated below.

Running change since mid-Februar y 1993 for S F-2022 and S F-2027. Since the first production for S F-2035.

2. Change in the main drive frame A and the upper DR frame, to permit shared use
1.Model name: SF-2022/2027/2035
2.General: The main drive frame A, the DR drive shaft , and the paper feed drive shaft
used in SF-2035 are changed to allow shared use.
3.Reason: To allow shared use of components because the thickness of frame chassis is changed to increase its strength to av ert overload on the m ain drive block that observed to increase the speed of SF-2035.
4.Description: Change in the main drive frame A thickness from 1.2 to 1.6 (SF-2022 and SF-2027). Change is made to the structure of t he DR dr ive shaft and the paper feed drive shaft (SF-2022 and SF-2027). Plastic washer added to us e (SF-2022 and SF-2027). Thickness of the DR frame upper connector is increased 0.4mm more owing to the change in the main drive frame A (SF-2022, SF-2027, and SF-2035). Discontinued use of the DR frame connector spacer owing to the change in the upper drive frame (SF-2022, S F-2027, and SF-2035).
Change in the upper DR frame (SF-2022, SF-2027, and S F-2035) will begin from May 1993. Owing to the change in the plate thickness of the drive frame A (1.2 to 1.6), the connector of the upper DR frame relocates 0.4mm more f rom the connector fitted to the drive f rame A. W hereas, the plat e thick ness is inc reased.
