IMPROVEMENT MEASURES FOR
MACHINES WHICH ARE BEING
RESOLD.

1.Model name: SF-2014/2114/2214 (only for machines bound for the USA and Canada).

2.General: There is a possibility of machines with the UL/CSA approval mark listed on the

standards plate being resold between the USA and Canada. In accordance with this
situation, the improvement measures described below have been carried out.

3.Description: (1)The high temperature warning labels attached to the fusing unit in machines bound
for the USA were previously written only in English. The content of the labels has been
changed and they are now written in four languages (English, German, French and
Spanish), and are interchangeable with the labels attached to the fusing unit (120 V
Other Countries) in machines bound for Canada.

(2)Both FCC approval labels and labels indicating compliance with Canadian noise

standards are now being attached to all machines bound for both countries.

4.Action: Japanese production: From the start of 1996 January production.

Chinese (SOCC) production: From the start of 1996 February production.
