Please read instructions carefully before using this unit as below.
WARNING - To reduce the risk of electric shock, re or injury :
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be
followed, including the following:

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:

INSTALLATION GUIDE
HOW TO SET UP HELMET ON PCI UNIT
Connection of AC adapter and installation of main unit
Insert the DC plug of AC
adapter in the DC jack of
the main unit.

Insert the AC plug of AC adapter in the outlet.

Place the main unit at the level place in the room.
• Be sure to place the product on a stable surface.
• Do not block the suction port and the air outlet.
• If the Plasmacluster Ion Generator causes interference to radio or television reception, try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Adjust or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the distance between the product and radio/TV receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Precautions on installation
• Be sure to turn up the shield to have circulation of air.
• Wipe helmet of any water droplets if any.

Do not block the suction port when setting the helmet.

OPERATION
Press the ON/OFF button to turn on.
In order to obtain the effect of Plasmacluster ion, operate the product for 8 hours* or more.
* Varies depending on the condition of the helmet. If you cannot feel the effect after the
product is operated for 8 hours or more, operate it continuously.
If you pres s the ON/ O F F bu t t o n , t h e OPERATION light (blue) lights up and the operation is started.
Press the ON/OFF button to turn off.
If y ou pr ess t h e ON/ OFF b u tto n, th e OPERATION light (blue) goes out and the operation is stopped.
If the odour cannot be removed suf ciently after the product is operated for 8
hours or more, the helmet may absorb the odour. Use IG-CH2J after removing the absorbed odour by cleaning service. Then, newly attached bacteria is removed and the odour is not generated easily.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
At the cleaning or maintenance, stop the operation and pull out the plug of AC adapter for connecting the main unit.
At least once a month
Wipe off the taint with a soft cloth.
<For Stubborn Dirt>
Using clean soapy water, wipe off the c l e a n i n g subst a n c e completely.

If the FILTER CLEAN light is (orange)
Even if the FILTER CLEAN light (orange) does not light, it is recommended to carry out the cleaning once a week.
Remove the  lter.
The  lter is attached to the rear of
the main unit. Clip the tabs on both sides of the
 lter and pull it out.

Clean up the  lter.
Gently remove the dust attached to the
 lter with a vacuum cleaner.

Do not pr ess the filter with f orce with a vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, it is damaged.
<For Stubborn Dirt>
Remove and rinse in water. (Use a soft sponge if the dirt does not come off easily.) And dry it at the sun shadow place.
Set the  lter on the main unit.
Press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
Insert the  lter until the stopper of tab is inserted into the main unit  rmly.

Do not operate the product while the  lter is removed.
The dust comes in the main unit and it may cause a failure.

The FILTER CLEAN light flashes twice and go off. Even if the FILTER CLEAN light is off, press ON/OFF button for 3 seconds after cleaning.

Remove the louver.
Hold the main unit with a hand and then pull out the louver.

Remove the cleaning brush.
Remove the cleaning brush attached to the main unit.

Clean up the needle electrode of the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit.
Remove the dust from the needle electrode with using the cleaning brush.

It is recommended to carry out the cleaning once every 6 months.

Attach the cleaning brush.
Attach the cleaning brush to the pin of the cabinet.

Attach the louver.
Hold the main unit with a hand and attach the louver to the cabinet.

Do not operate the product while the louver is removed. The strip of the helmet or other item touches the electrode of the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit and it may cause a failure.
