2.General: There have been prob lem s of U-turn jams fro m the cas sett e pape r feeding operat io ns in

the models listed above . As a measure to alleviat e this problem by improving t he pap er
feeding perfor ma nce , a change in one portion of the shape of the ribs of the pape r
feeding frame has been car ried ou t.

The raised portion of
the shaded area of the ribs in the four locations
marked by the circle is the Z1 part.

supply attachm ent plate mylar has be en car r ie d out .

3. Measure to alleviate proble ms of retur n malfun ction s of the PS clutch pawl.

2.General: There have been prob lem s in the mod e ls listed abo ve, of the leading edge of the copy

paper becoming misa ligned. This problem s was caused by the bond ing agen t used fo r
the noise insulation cus hions ( 2) attach ed to achieve and maint ain a red uctio n in nois e
of the PS clutch pawl which oozed out durin g red uction operations. As a measure to
alleviate this problem, a PET has been attach ed t o the out er surface .
