2.CHANGE IN PART CODES IN ACCORDANCE WITH A CHANGE
THAT WAS CARRIED OUT IN THE MAKER OF THE SPRINGS.

1. Addition of anti-reflecting tape.

1.Model Name: JX-9230

2.General: There is a possibility of black streaks on the left edge of half-tone printing operations

resulting during cases when light from the laser from outside the printing area reflects
off the frame or other parts of the machine. As a measure to alleviate this problem,
anti-reflecting tape has been added to the optical frame.

3.Description: Anti-reflecting tape (PTPE-0022GCZZ) has been added in the position as described in
the figure shown below.

2. Change in part codes in accordance with a change that was carried out in the
maker of the springs.

1.Model Name: JX-9200/9210

2.General: As a measure to improve production a change in the maker of the springs has been

carried out. In accordance with this change a change was also carried out in the part
codes.

3.Description: In accordance with the change that was carried out in the maker of the springs, a
change in the 12th digit of the old part codes has been carried out. The “Z” in the 12th
digit of the old part codes has been changed to “A”.

4.Action: From 1996 November production.
