TROUBLESHOOTING THE OCCURRANCE OF
WHITE STREAKS DUE TO TC CASE MALFUNCTION.
1.Model name: JX-9400 / JX-9600
2.General: When the machine is left in a place of low humidity (humidity of less than 20%) at
normal temperatures for several hours, the copy paper becomes extremely dry.
When printing operations are carried out under these conditions, white streaks
sometimes appear on the printed copies (refer to the print samples accompanying this
report).
[Example of white streaks which occurred on the printed copies.]

with white streaks.
3.Cause: Uneven surface resistance on the coating of the TC case causes unstable electrical
discharge in various places within the unit, which in turn causes the white streaks
occur. (The occurrence of white streaks due to the malfunction in the TC case has
occurred only in machines produced in 1993 June and July.)
4. Action: The TC case should be replaced.
