Various services of digital broadcasting
Digital broadcasting stations offer various services which take advantage of digital technologies that allow far
more data volume to be transmitted within a single channel than the traditional terrestrial or satellite analog TV.
These services include programs with multiple pictures and sounds, program-linked data broadcast in which
program-related or independent information is provided with still images and texts, and provision of program
information using which your TV shows an on-screen electronic program guide (EPG) when desired.
● Multiple pictures
Press (picture select) under the cover until the desired picture is
selected. (This feature is only available when the current program has
multiple pictures.)
●Multiple sounds
Press (audio select) under the cover until the desired sound is
selected. (This feature is only available when the current program has
multiple sounds.)
●Captions
Press (caption) under the cover to display or turn off captions, or
press the button until the desired caption is selected when the current
program offers multiple captions. (This feature is only available when the
current program has one or more captions.)
● Program-linked data broadcast
Press (linked data) to display the linked data screen. A
program-linked data screen usually has an inset screen that shows the
program which has been being viewed. To return to the normal screen,
press again. (This feature is only available when the current program
has a linked data broadcast.)
