Plasmacluster Ions are similar to positive
and negative ions found in nature. The
ions are surrounded by water molecules
and are released into the air.
2. Attack suspended airborne microbes
The ions form hydroxide (OH) radicals that are highly oxidising
when they adhere to the surface of airborne microbes like
suspended allergens, bacteria, mould and viruses. They remove
hydrogen from the surface proteins, breaking them down.
3. Return to the air as water
The hydroxide (OH) radicals combine
with hydrogen (H) to form water (H2O)

Combining Air Purification and Humidification is more efficient and effective as the water particles bind to the Plasmacluster Ions.
With the added benefits of the humidification function, the KCA50JW and KCA60JW has a temperature and humidity sensor which automatically detects and adjusts the humidity according to the changes in room temperature.
The recommended humidity level is between 40% to 60%. When the humidity is at this level, growth and activation of viruses and bacteria is reduced. Other benefits include protecting the nose, throat & skin as well as suppressing mould growth and reducing the effects for Asthma and Allergy sufferers.
Benefits of Humidification
The ideal humidity level in your home is between 40% and 60%. When your humidity is too low or too high, you may unintentionally encourage bacteria, virus, mould and dust mite growth.
When the humidity is at the ideal level, growth and activation is reduced as well as reducing triggers for Asthma and Allergy sufferers. Additional benefits include helping to relieve the effects of a dry throat, eyes and skin.

Rotating humidifying filter
The unit senses the humidity level in the room. When the room becomes dry the filter rotates, picking up water from the tank and releasing moisture into the air. When the humidity reaches the desired level the filter is removed from the water and dried by the airflow to prevent mould growth.
