Charging the main unit

Battery charge
indicator (red)

Press down the unit
with its front side
facing toward you.

Fit to the connection
terminal of main unit

Rear

PCDSC INLINE OUT

1Connect the AC adaptor to

the DC IN 5V socket on
the cradle.

2Plug the AC adaptor into

the wall socket.

To the wall socket

AC 100 - 240 V,
50/60 Hz

3Place the main unit on the

cradle.

Press down the unit firmly.
Battery charge indicator
(red) lights up.

Installing SHARP Music Manager

("Software Installer" screen)

1Insert the supplied CD-

ROM into your CD-ROM
drive.

The "Software Installer"
screen appears.

2Click the "Install SMM"

button.

Follow the instructions on
the screen.

Notes:

If the "Software Installer"
screen does not appear in
step 1, double click the
"autorun.exe" stored on the
CD-ROM from Explorer, etc.
When you use Windows 98
Second Edition, insert the
supplied CD-ROM and click
the "Install W98SE Driver"
button to install the driver.
