1. COUNTERMEASURE AGAINST FD READ/WRITE ERROR
1) Model name: PA-W1410, QL-W30/W20
2) General: Ceramic capacitors 1000pF have been added as the countermeasure against FD
READ/WRITE ERROR.
3) Description: • QL-W30 / PA-W1410G
A ceramic capacitor 1000pF has been added at each position between the soldered jumper
wires shown by the arrows in the Fig. 1.
(These capacitors are inserted between TC and +5V of the circuit.)

A ceramic capacitor 1000pF has been added between the 63th terminal of the IC7
(M50734SP) and the +5V side terminal of C31 shown by the arrows in the Fig. 2.
(This capacitor is inserted between TC and +5V of the circuit.)

2) General: The SKC’s production of the main PWB unit for the above model became impossible, and the
main PWB for QL-W30 has been used for assembling at SUKM. The parts codes mistaken in
the parts guide are shown in the attached sheet.
3) Description: All the changed points are shown in the following figures and the parts list.
