MEASURE TO DIMINISH THE NOISE CAUSED BY THE DRUM SEPARATOR PAWL MOVEMENT.

2.General: The action described below has been carried out as a measure to diminish the noise

caused by the movement of the drum separator pawl.

3.Description: a. Action to diminish noise caused by the drum separator pawl movement while the

solenoid is turned ON.

The addition of a PSPS cushion has been carried out between the solenoid itself and the plunger.

b. Action to diminish noise caused by the drum separator pawl movement while the

solenoid is turned OFF.

A change in the shape of the drum pawl return spring has been carried out. This change has been carried out as a measure to lighten the load on the spring.
