1. Preventing strange noises emitted by the fusing drive unit.

1.Model Name: SD-2260

2.General: The fusing drive unit’s suction drive axle has too little play, and may generate an odd

sound. In order to prevent this problem, we are moving the E-ring stopper ditch 0.9 mm.

This ditch has been moved 0.9 mm to the right.

3.Action: From the 1st lot of August, 1997 production on.

2.General: In order to improve productivity, the material used in the blow duct unit’s upper and lower

blow ducts has been changed to a recyclable material.

3.Action: From the 1st lot of August, 1997 production on.

2.General: In order to improve operation during manual paper feed, We have discontinued the

paper feed multi unit’s pad sheet and added a selvage sheet and supply mylar.
