2.General: Some of the parts used in the air paper feeding unit 2000 have been discontinued. This
discontinuance has been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.
Note: There will be no decrease in the performance of the machine as a result of the
discontinuing of these parts. Furthermore, a change in the part code for the air paper
feeding unit 2000 has been carried out in accordance with the discontinuing of the parts
described above.

4. Measure to alleviate problems of jams in the center tray.
1.Model Name: SD-2260
2.General: The attachment of a suction plate pressure sheet to the back side (lower side) of the
suction unit of the center tray unit was reported in technical report DTE-286. Due to the
influence of sagging of the copy paper as it is discharged from inside the center tray,
however, the leading edge of the copy paper sometimes comes in contact with the static
electricity discharge sheet attachment plate, causing the copy paper to jam. As a
measure to alleviate this problem, the suction plate pressure sheet has been added
once again.

5. Measure to alleviate problems of replacement mismatches of the fusing unit.
1.Model Name: SD-2060/2260/3062
2.General: The changes described below have been carried out as a measure to eliminate the
replacement mismatching of the fusing unit used in the models listed above with the
fusing units of the new models produced during the next production period.
3.Description: • The caulking positioning pin of the FU frame F of the fusing unit has been
discontinued, and a change in the shape of the caulking hole of the FU frame F has
been carried out. At the same time square holes have been prepared in two locations.
• Positioning pins have been newly made and secured with fixing screws as a measure
to establish a greater distinction in the attachment position.
• A change in the shape of the FU lever has been carried out as a measure to prevent
the head of the fixing screw which secures the positioning pin from coming in contact
with the FU lever holder.
