1. Control the numbers of copy sheets when the stapler mode copying was carried out

2.General: The excess numbers of speck sheets (the limit was 50 sheets) occurred due to

continuance of copying until the end of a circulation per copy, when copying was carried out with the stapler mode on using RDH. For instance, when you copy 50 copying sheets with using the double side to single side copying mode, 100 sheets of copies are made. The breakage of the shaft gear might occur so we changed the main PWB ROM programs as follows.

3.Description: We changed the main PWB ROM programs to let it stop copying when the stapler mode is on and the copies exceed 75 sheets.

The ROM version (Current) V4.05 (New) V4.06

4.Action: From mid-May 1994 production.

2. Prevention of the discharged paper end creeping in a gap between the shift roller shaft and its support plate

2.General: The end of the discharged paper from the stapler tray of the finisher sometimes got in a

gap between the shift roller shaft and its support plate and it made the stacking function worse. We prevent this by adding the shift roller sheet.
