1. Prevention of detach of heat warning label fusing cover
1.Model name: SD-2060 / 3062
2.General: Detach of heat warning label from fusing cover frequently occurred caused by high
temperature of attaching surface and changes of storage temperature. We changed
labels as follows to prevent it.
No. : DTE-171
3.Description: Materials of labels have been changed from wood free paper to polyester film (with
strong adhesive). Double-surface tape has been also attached on the surface of labels
with adhesive.
(Both the upper side and the side f ace of fusing cover have been changed in 120V for
USA, Canada, and Agent.)
4.Action: From the first unit of May 1994 production.
2. Prevention of paper feeding clutch slip in UDH paper feeding drive unit
1.Model name: SD-3062
2.General: Paper feeding malfunction of copy occurred caused by slip of paper feeding clutch that
drives UDH suction belt. We changed UDH as follows aiming to curb the load to
machine.
3.Description: (1)UDH paper feeding drive unit Discontinuance of mechanical load brake
(2)UDH suction belt Changes has been made to spacers that made
friction with suction belt.
