2.General: The parts changes described below have been carried out on models SD-2060 and

SD-3062.

3.Description: 1. Change in the supporting point plate on the attachment side of the center tray unit. When trouble shooting jams, the supporting area of the frame sometimes becomes deformed due to strongly opening the fixed upper paper guide to widely. To alleviate this problem, the thickness of the metal has been changed to strengthen the area. Attachment side of the supporting point plate:

Factory action: From 1994 January production.

2. Change in bushing of the switch back unit and finisher gate frame unit. To prevent abnormal noise from occurring when the switch back unit and finisher gate frame unit is in motion, the shape of the bushing has been changed. Bushing:

LBSHC0305FCZZ LBSHC0305FCZ1

* The left and right sides of the bushing have become asymmetrical as a result of this

change in shape (previously they were symmetrical). Care must therefore be exercised when attaching the bushing.

Added 0.5 rib with width of 1µ.

This rib should be on the inside when attached.

Factory action: From 1994 February production. (Switch back unit)

From 1994 January production. (Finisher gate frame unit)

3. Change in bushing in the fusing unit, the drum drive unit and the center tray unit. The maker of the sintered bushing used in the units listed above has been changed to improve productivity.
