CHANGE IN PARTS TO IMPROVE
PRODUCTIVITY.

1.General: The parts changes described below have been carried out to improve productivity and

operationabilty.

2.Description: 1. A change has been carried out in the maker for ball bearing used in the center tray
unit and the drum drive unit, to improve productivity.

* The old ball bearings are currently being used in the switch back area.

2. A change in the shape of the spent toner holder inside the spent toner case has been
carried out to improve operationability. When assembled in the production process,
the thin area of the spent toner holder is sometimes damaged, and therefore a change
in shape has been carried out to reinforce the plate and eliminate burrs from the round
sections.

3. The screws in the toner box unit have been changed to improve productivity.

The attachment screws in the toner hopper base plate and the cartridge guide have
been changed.

4. Change in the shape of the pressure plate pushing down on the glass table to
establish compatibility .
The glass table pressure plate has been changed to establish parts compatibility with a
new product (SD-3062).

* The paper flow direction of the original document in model SD-3062 is opposite that

in model SD-2060. As a result, the glass table pressure plate sometimes extend up
past the glass table due to the curve or the attachment condition of the plate.
This can cause paper jams. The glass table pressure plate has therefore been cut
