1. Trouble shooting RDH JAMs.
1.Model name: SD-2075 / 3076 / 3075
2.General: The shaft socket of the clutch gear area of the clutch used by the RDH sometimes
becomes disengaged, disrupting the clutch and causing an RDH timing jam. In
particular, when the OTRC2 is disrupted a OPD06JAM error occurs.
Note: Concerning the OTRC2 of model SD-3076 / 3075, the construction of the clutch
shaft socket is different and does not become disengaged.
3.Cause: The friction created by the spinning of the clutch shaft causes thermal expansion of the
plastic gears, the shaft socket disengages, and disruption occurs.

4.Description:

The quantity of shaft sockets employed in the clutch area has been changed from 2 to 1.

The parts code of the clutch has also been changed in accordance with the changes
described above. The clutch label has been changed from blue to red.

Note 1. J ams can happen when the clutches underlined above have problems.
2. There can be clutch problems when there is no clutch gap (except for the OHC1
and OHC2)
3. Please check when the clutch gap is cold.
4. The new clutch bearing looks smaller because there is no spar.

2. Change in the scanner control ROM.
1.Model name: SD-3076 / 3075
2.General: The scanner control PWB ROM has been changed as a trouble shooting measure for
OPD06 JAMs. (Measures for the slave ROM have already been carried out from the
start of mass production. This change thus effects a double protection.)
3.Description: Fluctuations in the fixed revolutions of the mirror motor or RDH motor caused by
changes in the load of the switch back clutch related to OPD06 are decreased.
(A sample of the motor revolution fluctuations caused by load deviations is taken.
These interval and rotation samples are checked much more carefully than in the past,
and are used for feedback data for the motor revolution control.)
