1. Trouble shooting damage to the upper heat roller.
1.General: When attaching the fusing unit cover to the fusing unit, the FU toner receptacle plate
sometimes comes in contact with the upper heat roller, causing damage to the heat
roller. The FU toner holder plate has therefore been discontinued.
2.Description: The FU toner holder plate and the FU protective sheet attached to the FU toner
receptacle have both been discontinued. The earth sheet attached to the inside of the
fusing cover has also become unnecessary, and has been discontinued in the export
models.

attached to both ends of the FU toner receptacle.

2. Improve the strength of the vibration plate in the waster toner case unit.
1.General: The material of the vibration plate in the waster toner transport area has been changed.
In addition, R of the bent section has also been changed. These changes are aimed at
improve the strength of the vibration plate.
2. Description: The material used in making the vibration plate of the waster toner case unit has been
changed from a phosphor bronze plate to a SUS, and R of the bent section has been
changed to improve the strength.

3. New service and maintenance parts (Drum flange unit).
1.General: The drum flange unit has been redesigned to increase servicability for machines
already out on the market.
2.Description: The parts shown in the figure below have been combined into a single unit for supply
for service and maintenance purposes. Supply of individual parts for service and
maintenance purposes will also continue as before.
