1. Change of PS brake spring in the transport unit.

1.General: The PS brake spring in the transport unit has been changed to improve productivity.

2.Description: The parts code for the PS brake spring has been changed in accordance with the

change described above.

2. Addition of flat washer to the radf magnet catch area to prevent the magnet catch
from becoming deformed.

1.General: Flat washers have been added to prevent deforming of the plastic area of the magnet
catch area caused by tightening the fixing screws of the RADF magnet catches too
tightly.

2.Description: A flat washer has been added to the magnet catch area. There are three magnet
catches used in the RADF, two on the door section and one on the back side of the
original copy plate. Six flat washers have therefore been added.

3. Addition of static electricity sheet to the RADF.

1.General: Static electricity sheets have been added to the display area of the DF cover and the
size sensor actuator area of the RADF as of the start of mass production.

4. Supply of RADF hinge assemply parts.

1.General: A change in the RADF hinge angle was reported in Technical Report No. DTE-104.

In consideration of servicability for those machines already out on the market, the hinge
angle parts are now being supplied as an assembly.

2.Description: The hinge angle is being supplied with an angle sheet and an angle mylar attached.
