1. Troubleshooting the insertion and removal of the 2000 tray.
1.Model name: SD-2075 / 3075 / 3076 (inch series).
cannot be removed. To remedy this problem the plate spring has been strengthened.
3.Reason: The plate spring of the size guide lock is too light and is easily warped. Whenit warps, the size guide lock becomes disengaged, and the size guide catches onto the plate of the machine chassis preventing the 2000 tray from being removed.
4.Description: The thickness of the plate spring has been changed from 0.3 to 0.5 mm, and a stiffer spring material has been used. This stiffer, thicker spring then undergoes low heat tempering for greater resistance to warping.

2. Bottom heat roller shaft change to improve servicability.
1.Model name: SD-2075 / 3075 / 3076
2.General: The lower heat roller shaft is incorporated in the lower heat roller assembly bymeans of
bearings. When servicing the assembly, however , the bearings are extremely difficult to take apart. To facilitate servicing, a C-ring has been added.
3.Reason: To improve serviceability.
4.Description: A groove has been added in the lower heat roller shaft for the C-ring. With the C-ring
attached, the bearings are removed with the lower heat roller shaft when it is removed from the lower heat roller.
Added C-ring.
5.Action: (Factory action)

3. Prevention of cracking of the area around the screw holes of lower intake duct 500.
1.Model name: SD-3075 / 3076 / 2075
2.General: The dimensions of the fixing screws of lower intake duct 500 in the air paper supply unit
have been changed to prevent cracking of the area around the screw holes at the bottom of the duct when the screws are tightened during the production process.
3.Reason: To prevent cracking of the area around the screw holes of lower intake duct 500.
4.Description: Screw length has been changed from M4 x 12 P-tight to M4 x 10 P-tight to prevent
cracking. The diameter of the lower intake duct 500 screw holes are φ0.2 mm larger than before, which also contributes to preventing cracking when tightening the screws.

4. Change in driver integrated circuit (To meet the needs of market demand.)

2.General: The maker of the master PWB driver integrated circuit has been changed for the
reasons described below.
3.Reason: To increase productivity.
4.Description: Integrated circuit IC511 in the master PWB has been changed from M54537 to
TD62504. Caution: There are old integrated circuits other than the IC511.

5. Change in relay (I/F) circuit board (To increase communication speed ).
1.Model name: SD-3075 / 3076
2.General: The changes described below have been carried out on the relay circuit board used in
the PPC communication system to increase communication speed and to improve operationability.
3.Reason: Due to the large discrepancy in the answer speed of the relay circuit board photo coupler and small margin for communication speed (9600 bps), the photo coupler has been changed to a high speed reply type and a low resistance transistor has been incorporated.
4.Description: The photo coupler has been changed to a high speed reply type, and a low resistance transistor has been incorporated.
