[Troubleshooting]

TROUBLESHOOTING IRREGULAR NOISE GENERATION
FROM THE WORN-OUT 26T GEARWHEEL BUSHING

1.Model name: SD-3075/3076/2075

2.General: The following action needs to be taken to get rid of the irregular noise

generation from the 26T gear wheel (P/G 28 -46) of the rev ersing unit 2.

No. : DTE-083

3.Cause: Because some of oil impregnated bushings pressure fit to the 26T gearwheel
(CGERH0429FC01) lack in the im pregnated oil, the noise might be generated
as particles scraped from the bushing i ntroduce bet ween the bushing and the
shaft as the gearwheel r otates.

4.Description: To cure the problem, wipe clean the i nner surfac e of the gear wheel and t he
surface of the shaft wi th a clean cloth and lube the shaft wit h a few drops of
lubricant (Triflow). If the lubricant is not available, you may apply a small
amount of white grease (UKOG-0158FCZZ), instead.

caused by a deformation in the pulley flange as informed on our Technical
Report DTE-081.

Lubricant (Triflow) has been used since January 1993.
