SERVICE MANUAL CORRECTIONS
1.Model name: JX-325
2.General: There were false descriptions in the service manual. We have corrected them.
3.Description: (1)There were missed descriptions in the page 3 “• Maintenance mode setting”
Therefore we have added Panel display test and Heater test. These descriptions have been in the item 5. Diagnostics.

Normal operation Shifts the scanner
head to the fixed position for transit.
Checks the operation of DIP SW1, SW2, and display LED.
Checks the power supply to the heater.
Lights the three lamps in sequence, and performs all area scanning.
Repeats white balance lighting after white balance.
Checks shading and the dark-component correction circuit function.
Checks the MTF peripheral line memory operation.
Checks MTF edge emphasis.
Checks the transparent unit operation.

(2)In the “5-2. Diagnostic execution and cancellation” it was described that the white
balance test, the correction circuit test and the line buffer test were executed by turning off the DIP SW1 No. 8. However this was false. There is no need to turn the switch off. We have made a new flow chart this time.
