CHANGE IN ROM

1.General: The ROM has been changed from “S071N” to “S071O" in order to correct the problems

described below.

2.Description: 1) Correction of the SET WINDOW command (SCSI) trouble. When the READ M (scanner conditions confirmation) is not carried out before the area settings of the SET WINDOW reading area and reading conditions command the settings are left in the default settings. The ROM change will have the reading settings carried out normally by AO command (area setting).

2) Correction of image quality trouble during installment of the JX32F3 command (permeable reading). When installing the JX32F3, the right edge of the image sometimes becomes white, and to alleviate this problem the CCD timing of the CLMP and RS signals has been changed.

3.Action: From 1994 April production.
