problems of variance in the metal plating of the scraper CL (shaft).

2. Change carried out in the lock release lever of the upper frame unit.

2.General: Ribs have been added to enlarge the R shape of the pawl. This action has been carried

out as a measure to alleviate problems of cracking in the pawl section of the lock
release lever.

4.Action: Running change after liquidation of stock (Machine action: From 1998 June production).

3. Change carried out in the metal mold of the paper delivery base.

2.General: The problems described below occurred in the paper delivery base. As a measure to

alleviate these problems a change has been carried out in the metal mold. This action
has been carried out as a measure to improve product quality stability.

3.Description: <A> There was a problem of biting of the sensor cable. This problem has been

alleviated by carrying out a rib cut.

<B> There was a problem of the drive roller spring raising up due to burs.

This problem has been alleviated by changing the construction of the metal mold
from a sliding (horizontal pin) construction to a vertical draw construction.
