ADDITION CARRIED OUT OF TWO CAPACITORS
ATTACHED TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE ICU PWB.
1.Model Name: JX-8200 (All destination)
2.General: There have been problems of a printer drops in the ICU PWB after the sending of
printing data. As a measure to alleviate this problem the addition of two (2) capacitors
has been carried out to the back side of the PWB.
3.Description: Sandwich capacitor (0.1 µF) RC-K1E104HCZT × 2
The new capacitors have been added in the locations described in the figure shown
below.
<1> One capacitor is soldered between the through-hole of the GND and the
through-hole of the Vcc on the soldered face at IC 1 (G10).
<2> One capacitor is soldered between the through-hole of the GND and the
through-hole of the Vcc on the soldered face at IC 5 (CPU).
(Caution: After the soldering operations have been completed, the soldered
portion should be check by lightly touching them with a finger to insure that
they are firmly and properly attached.)
