MEASURE TO ALLEVIATE PROBLEMS DISCOVERED
DURING THE VIBRATION AND DROP TESTS.

2.General: Measures have been carried out to alleviate problems such as with the bundle exit

mechanism, which were discovered during the vibration and drop tests.
3.Description: <1> The pawl of the bush and the bundle roller arm became dislodged from the metal
plate during the vibration and drop test. As a measure to alleviate this problem the
hooks of the pawl have been enlarged.
<2> The size of the packing case was such that there was no leeway whatsoever, and
so the packing case has been changed to a larger one.
<3> There was a possibility of peeling of the spacer which is attached to the cover of
the base plate due to interference with the packing materials. As a measure to
alleviate this problem, the interfering portion of the packing materials has been
cut away.

<4> As a measure to alleviate problems of the adjustment screws of the base plate
cover casters becoming dislodged, packing tape has been used to affix them.

<5> A change has been carried out in the color of the de-curler in the transport
mechanism section of the machine. This change has been carried out as a
measure to distinguish between the de-curler and the pulley of the bundle
delivery mechanism section. The color of the de-curler has been changed from
black to blue.
<6> There was a possibility of interference to the side face of the attachment holes
caused by looseness of the casters. As a measure to alleviate this problem a
change in the dimensions of the holes in the base plate and the caster rail have
been carried out.
