1. Measure to alleviate problems of loosening of rubber-leg screws.

2.General: There was a problem of loosening of the rubber-leg screws used in some of the
machines bound for a portion of the overseas markets. As a measure to alleviate this
problem, the screws have been changed to longer ones, and the addition of a screw
lock has been carried out.
3.Action: From 1998 mid-July production.
2. Addition of aluminium tape carried out as a measure to improve problems of noise.
1.Model Name: AR-280/285/335 (only machines bound for the 200 V series destinations).
2.General: The attachment of aluminium tape has been carried out to the optical unit. This action
has been carried out as a measure to improve problems of noise in machines bound for
the overseas 200 V series destinations, and also as a measure to comply with VCCI
standards in machines bound for the Japanese domestic market.
