ADDITION OF ITEMS OF CAUTION TO BE OBSERVED DURING PARAMETER SETTING OPERATIONS OF THE DEVELOPER UNIT.

1.Model Name: AR-280/285/335

2.General: The addition of items of caution to be observed during parameter setting operations of

the developer unit has been carried out in the G. Developer Unit Settings portion of [5] Installation Setup section of the service manual for the models listed above.

3.Description: < Items of Caution to be Observed During Parameter Setting Operations of the

Developer Unit. > Care should be exercised to insure that the leading edge of the DV blade in the hopper unit is not stuck into the inner side of the DV side seals L and R in the front and rear of the developer unit when carrying out parameter setting operations of the developer unit. (Please refer to the figure shown below for details.) If the machine is operated while the leading edge of the DV blade in the hopper unit is stuck into the inner side of the DV side seals L and R in the front and rear of the developer unit, there is a possibility of the toner spilling and scattering.
