CONCERNING THE ADDITION OF NEW "IMPORTANT!/CAUTION!"
MESSAGES, RELATING TO LASERS, TO THE SERVICE MANUALS
FOR MODELS AR-280, 285, AND 335
1.Model Name: AR-280/285/335
2.General: New "Important!/Caution!" messages, relating to lasers, will be added to the service
manuals for the above models.
3.Description: The new "Important!/Caution!" messages (see attached sheet) will be added to the
inside of the cover page of the service manuals.

At the production line, the output power of
the scanner unit is adjusted to 0.6 MILLIWATT PLUS 13.4 PCTS and is maintained
constant by the operation of the Automatic
Power Control (APC).

ensure continued safety do not remove any cover or
attempt to gain access to the inside of the product. Refer
all servicing to qualified personnel.
