Caution: The temperature at the steam discharge point can be very high.
Please take the following precautions when using your steam cleaner:
• Direct only at non-living things.
• Do not direct nozzle into vents in your microwave or other electrical connections such as those in an engine or stove top.
• Be sure that materials such as glass, which can crack with sudden temperature changes, are near room temperature before applying steam directly.
• Always test the steam on a small inconspicuous area of fabrics to assure that no harm results before proceeding.
• Apply steam from a distance when cleaning thin plastics that may not be able to withstand high temperatures.
• Be sure to replace any beneficial lubricants on mechanical parts that you might have cleaned away along with dirt.

Introduction

Welcome to the chemical-free world of steam cleaning. Now you can
clean, deodorize, and sanitize without the use of harsh chemicals
and abrasive cleaners.
Originating in Italy, by manufacturers of espresso coffee machines,
steam cleaners have been used in Europe for over 15 years. With a
powerful blast of steam and the wipe of a towel you can, without the
use of harsh chemicals, clean your entire home inside and out - from
greasy messes in the kitchen to mildew in the bathroom.
This booklet will show you many uses for your new steam cleaner.
The versatility and number of applications will surprise you. Please
understand this appliance is designed to be a comprehensive
substitute for dangerous household cleaners used in
everyday chores. It is unrealistic to expect your
steam cleaner to fully restore abused, neglected,
and poorly maintained items to their original
condition. Your cleaner will help you keep your
home free of chemical residue while breaking
down the dirt and greasy messes that happen
in everyday living.

Laminate, Vinyl, & Hard Wood Floors
Clean your vinyl, ceramic, stone, laminate, and sealed wood floors. Assemble the
towel to the floor attachment and let the power of steam dislodge built up grime
and make your floors look like new. Depending on which product model you
own, your steam cleaner includes one of the following floor attachments:
Tile Floors Under Furniture
One of the great advantages of using our Steam Pocket™ is that your floors will
dry faster than if you used a mop or other floor cleaner. It is normal that some
moisture may be left behind depending on how quickly you move the Steam
Pocket™ across the floor and the relative heat and humidity of the room. Be sure
to move quickly and steadily over wood, linoleum and vinyl flooring to avoid
damaging the surface and removing wax.
