WHEN USING YOUR SHARK® PRESS & REFRESH™ GARMENT CARE SYSTEM, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR PRESS & REFRESH™ GARMENT CARE SYSTEM.
DANGER OF SCALDING
Please use caution when using the garment steamer. The Wrinkle Eraser™ pressing bar and the steam emitted are very hot. The Wrinkle Eraser™ is not controlled by the steam trigger and is hot as long as the unit is turned on and for 30 minutes after the unit has been turned off.
IMPORTANT:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children shall not use or play with this appliance. Close supervision is necessary to keep appliance and its cord out of reach of children during use and cooling.

2. DO NOT use outdoors.
3. DO NOT leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. Always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet when not in use and before servicing.
4. DO NOT allow the appliance to be used by children. Close attention is necessary when used near children, pets, or plants.
5. Use only as dscribed in this manual.
6. Use only manufacturer’s recommended accessories.
7. DO NOT use with damaged cord or plug.
8. DO NOT USE the appliance is not working, has been dropped, dropped into water, damaged,
left outdoors, or if it is leaking.
9. NO SERVICEABLE PARTS. Incorrect re- assembly or repair can cause a risk of electrical shock or injury to persons when the appiance is used. Contact Customer Service.
10. To protect against a risk of electric shock, DO NOT immerse the garment steamer into water or any other liquids.
11. DO NOT handle plug or garment steamer with wet hands or operate appliance without shoes.
12. DO NOT pull or carry by power cord, use power cord as a handle, close a door on the power cord, or pull the power cord around sharp corners or edges. Keep power cord away from heated surfaces.
13. ALWAYS unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet when filling or emptying the water tank and when not in use.

14. NEVER attempt to fill this unit under a water faucet. Always use the filling flask that is provided.
15. DO NOT unplug by pulling on the power cord. To unplug, grasp the plug not the power cord. Do not use extension cords or outlets with inadequate currect carrying capacity.
16. DO NOT put any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.
17. This appliance and the accessories become hot during use and surfaces may also become hot. Exercise care when changing accessories and follow removal and changing instructions as outlined in the manual. Do not change frames while the unit is turned on. Turn the unit off, wait for the Wrinkle Eraser change frames.
18. The garment steamer can be used in a vertical or horizontal motion. NEVER hold the steam head down while at rest or tilt it in a backward position as this may result in discharge. When using the appliance, it must be rested on a stable surface.
19. DO NOT use on leather, suede, vinyl, plastic or other delicate steam sensitive materials. Always determine the colorfastness of any fabric before using the garment steamer by testing it on a small portion of the garment’s underside.
20. NEVER attempt to steam clothing while it is being worn.
21. DO NOT add cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils, or any other chemicals to the water used in this appliance as this may damage the unit or make it unsafe for use. If you live in a hard water area, we recommend using distilled water in your garment steamer.
22. When in use, NEVER turn the appliance over or on its side. NEVER DIRECT STEAM TOWARDS PEOPLE, ANIMALS OR PLANTS. The steam is very hot and can cause burns. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, steam, steam bonnets or frames.

27. Store the garment steamer indoors in a cool, dry place.
28. To avoid circuit overload, do not operate another appliance on the same socket (circuit) as the garment steamer.
29. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, an extension cord rated a minimum of 15 ampere,

cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
30. DO NOT leave your Garment Steamer unattended when the system is connected to a power supply/electrical outlet.
31. Always unplug and allow the garment steamer to cool before removing or changing frames or bonnets.
32. Make sure that the water tank door is closed when using the appliance.

Attaching the appropriate accessory:
The unit comes assembled with a small steam bonnet attached. The bonnet must be attached at all times when the unit is being used.
1 Attach the desired frame
