Pickups with shielded cable and 2.3mm plug
Control unit with holder and 6.3mm output jack
3-Volt battery
1. Loosen strings, so that the bridge can be raised a few millimeters easily.
2. Lift bridge up. Place pickup between bridge feet and body so that the cable points toward the tailpiece
of the instrument (one pickup per bridge foot).
3. The pickups has to be centered under the feet to guarantee optimized sound transfer. Take care, that
there is no unevenness/roughness (dirt, dust, concavities on top of instrument or bottom of bridge).
4. Tune your instrument.
5. Install control unit between the bridge and the tailpiece. Screw the underside nut of the control unit
off and clamp the center two strings between control unit and plate. Screw nut back on the control
unit.
6. Place supplied 3V battery into control unit. Note correct polarization.
7. Plug pickup-cables into the 2.5mm input jacks of the control unit. Either pickup can plug into either
pickup jack.
8. Connect to appropriate amplifier with instrument cable.
