DESCRIPTION
The M54/74HC283 isa highspeed CMOS4-BITBI­NARY FULL ADDER fabricated in silicon gate C2MOStechnology. Ithasthesamehighspeedper­formance of LSTTL combined with true CMOS low powerconsumption.
Sum (Σ) outputs are providedfor each bitand a re­sultant carry(C4) isobtained fromthefourthbit.This adderfeaturesfullinternallookahead acrossallfour bits. A 4 x n binary adder is easily built up bycas­cadingwithout any additionallogic.
All inputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge and transient excess volt­age.
