DESCRIP TION
TheL293Cisa monolithichighvoltage,highcurrent
integratedcircuit fourchanneldriverin a20pinDIP.
Itis designedto accept standardTTL or DTL input
logic levels and drive inductiveloads (such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors) and
switchingpower transistors.
The devicemay easily be used as a dual H-bridge
driver: separatechipenableandhighvoltagepower
supplypinsare providedfor eachH-bridge.Inaddition, a separate power supply is provided for the
logicsectionof the device.
TheL293C is assembledin a 20 lead plasticpackagewhichhas4centerpinsconnectedtogetherand
usedforheatsinking.
