DESCRIP TION
TheL293Cisa monolithichighvoltage,highcurrent integratedcircuit fourchanneldriverin a20pinDIP. Itis designedto accept standardTTL or DTL input logic levels and drive inductiveloads (such as re­lays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors) and switchingpower transistors.
The devicemay easily be used as a dual H-bridge driver: separatechipenableandhighvoltagepower supplypinsare providedfor eachH-bridge.Inaddi­tion, a separate power supply is provided for the logicsectionof the device.
TheL293C is assembledin a 20 lead plasticpack­agewhichhas4centerpinsconnectedtogetherand usedforheatsinking.
