Use
The electric blanket is placed on the mattress and under the sheet. It is not
designed for use with animals. Inappropriate use can damage the surface of the
blanket and the fixing of the heating wires. If damaged the blanket must not be
used anymore. In this case please contact the SGL service hotline.
After 30 minutes pre-heating the desired temperature is reached, and will be
maintained for another 90 minutes unless the blanket gets switched off before.
The bed should be warm not hot. The heat is difficult to determine when touching
with your hands, other than the heat pillow. The hand is not as sensitive towards
heat as other body parts. After usage, fold the blanket and put it back into the
package.
Turn on heat
Put plug into power point. The Electric Blanket is ready for use. The switch has
four levels:
Level 0 appliance off
Level 1 minimum heat
Level 2 medium heat
Level 3 maximum heat
(setting 1 is recommended for all night use)
Automatic switch off
120 minutes after switching on (30 minutes pre- heat and 90 minutes
maintenance) the electric blanket switches off automatically. If the blanket should
stay in use you have to switch on to level 0. Afterwards the blanket is ready for
another 120 minutes use.
