Dear Customer
Before using the appliance, the user should read the following instructions carefully.
Connection to the mains supply
Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label. This product complies with all binding CE labelling directives.

Important safety instructions
Caution: the reservoir becomes very hot
during operation. During use, do not lift off the face mask or the cover of the aroma diffuser.
Do not allow the power cord to touch
any hot part of the appliance. Do not allow the power cord to hang free;
Do not operate the charging base near
baths, showers, wash basins, swimming pools or any other water container. We recommend operating the appliance with an additional earth-leakage circuit­breaker having a rated tripping current not exceeding 30mA.
Before the appliance is used, the main
body including the power cord as well as any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects. Should the appliance, for instance, have been dropped onto a hard surface, it must no
longer be used: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance.
Do not heat up the unit while the
reservoir is empty. Do not fill with or add any solvents or inflammable liquids.
Persons with a heart condition, inflamed
or irritated skin, eczema or psoriasis must refrain from using this appliance.
During pregnancy, or with health
problems of any kind, aromatic oils or herbal additives should be used only after consulting a physician.
Should any skin irritation occur during
use, the treatment should be stopped immediately.
Always switch off and remove the plug
from the wall socket after use, as well as
- in cases of malfunction, and
- during cleaning.
When removing the plug from the wall
socket, never pull on the power cord; always grip the plug itself.
This appliance is not intended for use by
any person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
No responsibility will be accepted if
damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.
This appliance is intended for domestic
use only and is not designed for medical or commercial applications.
In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel, including the replacement of the power cord. If repairs are needed, please send the appliance to one of our customer service departments. The addresses can be found in the appendix to this manual.

Facial sauna
Before using this unit for the first time
Initially, the unit should be cleaned as described in General care and cleaning.
Switch settings
The rotary control switch allows for the following settings:
0 The unit is switched off. 1 The unit operates at low power. 2 The unit operates at high power.
Caution: to avoid any effect detrimental to
the facial skin, the high-power setting (2) should be used only for accelerated pre­heating of the appliance. The control switch should be returned to position ‘1’ before the face is held over the face mask.
Aroma diffuser
The aroma diffuser is designed to add different aromas to the steam during the inhalation and cleansing process. Remove the cover of the diffuser. Put a few drops of aromatic oil or herbal additive onto a cotton cloth, place it inside the aroma diffuser and replace the cover.
Steam output control
The steam output is controlled by turning the ring on the base of the face mask. Turning the ring in an anti-clockwise direction will reduce the current steam output. The output is increased by turning the ring clockwise.
Use
-
Fill the reservoir with cold, clean water up to the maximum level mark.

Place the translucent mask onto the base and lock it by turning in an anti-clockwise direction.

Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet.

Use the rotary control switch to turn the appliance on; the indicator light comes on.

As soon as steam starts coming out, the appliance is ready for use; you can now position your face over the mask.
Caution: ensure that the control switch is
set to position ‘1’.
Do not place your face directly onto the
mask. Always keep a small gap between mask and face.

The recommended application time of 20 minutes must not be exceeded.

Adjust the desired steam output by turning the control ring.
Caution: should the effect of the steam
on your facial skin feel too hot, interrupt the treatment for a moment and dab the face with a damp cloth to cool it down.
Always switch the appliance off after use,
when the indicator light goes out. Now remove the plug from the wall socket. Rinse your face with cold water for about a minute. It is recommended that you remain in a warm room for another 30 minutes, avoiding draughts.
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is
disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
The reservoir and face mask should be
thoroughly cleaned and disinfected every time the appliance has been used.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the appliance with water and do not immerse it in water.
Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning
solutions.

Pour out any remaining water from the reservoir.

The base, mask, aroma diffuser and reservoir may be cleaned with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. The mask is not dishwasher-safe.
Disposal
Do not dispose of old or defective appliances in domestic garbage; this should only be done through public collection points.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed against defects in

materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse. This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic items, bulbs etc. If the product fails to operate and needs to be returned, pack it carefully, enclosing your name and address and the reason for return. If within the guarantee period, please also provide the guarantee card and proof of purchase.
