Features and accessories

on the coffee maker model. Please follow
the descriptions and illustrations on the
packaging of your appliance.
Before using for the first time
Before making coffee for the first time, let
the appliance go through two or three
filtration cycles using the indicated
maximum amount of cold water, but without
using ground coffee. This should also be
done if the appliance has not been used for
an extended period of time, and after
descaling.
General information
-
The markings on the water gauge and/or
on the jug help you to measure the
amount of water needed to prepare the
required number of cups of coffee. If
your appliance comes with a double
graduation scale, the one on the left-hand
side corresponds to medium-sized cups
with a capacity of approx. 125 ml, the one
on the right-hand side to smaller-sized
coffee cups. Take care not to exceed the
indicated maximum number of cups.
● Always switch off and allow the coffee
maker to cool down for about 5 minutes
before it is switched don again.
● Warning! Be careful not to fill water into
the reservoir immediately after a brewing
cycle is complete as hot steam may
escape from the water nozzle.
