Dear Customer,
Before using the appliance, the user should read the following instructions carefully.
Connection to the mains supply
The appliance should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label of the appliance.
Models with dual-voltage selector:
Models equipped with a dual voltage switch can be set to different supply voltages by using a coin or a similar object. Make sure that the set voltage corresponds with the supply voltage. This product complies with the directives which are binding for the CE-labelling.

Important safety instructions
Caution! Do not use the
appliance in the vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming­pool, over a washbasin filled with water or any other receptacle containing water.
There is always a risk when the appliance
is operated near water even when it is switched off. Therefore, if the appliance is being used in a bathroom always remove the plug from the wall socket after use.
Additional protection is offered by fitting an earth-leakage circuit-breaker with a rated tripping current not exceeding 30mA into your bathroom installation. Please consult a qualified electrician.
Protect the appliance from moisture and
splashing water and do not operate it with wet hands.
Electric heating appliances operate at
very high temperatures. Do not touch any part of the appliance except the housing. Burns can occur from touching the hot parts.
Do not use the appliance on synthetic
hair-pieces or wigs. The heat emitted might cause damage to the synthetic fibres.
Make sure the air intake and outlet
openings are not blocked by fingers or hair and that no lint particles are allowed to accumulate in the air intake.
Should the unit automatically switch off
during use, the integral overheating protective device may have been activated. The appliance will switch on again after a sufficient cooling down period.
Before the appliance is used, the main
body as well as any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects. Should the appliance, for instance, have been dropped onto a hard surface, it must not be used any longer: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance unattended
while in use.
To prevent damage to the power cord,
- do not bend or kink the cable, especially where it leaves the housing,
- do not pull on the cord,
- do not coil the power cord around the appliance.
Do not place the appliance on any
surface sensitive to heat during or immediately after use.

stored on the hanging loop.
Make sure that the hot round brush is
kept well away from the scalp.
When removing the plug from the wall
socket, never pull on the power cord; always grip the plug itself.
Always switch off and remove the plug
from the wall socket
- after use, as well as
- in cases of malfunction, and
- during cleaning.
This appliance is not intended for use by
any person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
No responsibility will be accepted if
damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.
This appliance is intended for domestic
use only and not for commercial applications.
In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel, including the replacement of the power cord. If repairs are needed, please send the appliance to one of our customer service departments. The address can be found in the appendix to this manual.
Operation
Switch positions
The appliance is equipped with a 3-position switch allowing for the following settings: Functions:
0 = Off 1 = Half power 2 = Full power
Use
-
The round brush is designed for shaping the hair. To achieve this, the hair should be divided into single strands (not too thick) and then spread evenly over the brush, turning them inwards or outwards as desired.

Apply for a few seconds at a time only, while letting the hot air take effect on the hair.

Press the curl release button to roll the brush out of the strands of hair.

Let the hair cool down sufficiently before brushing it out.
General cleaning and care
Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is
disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the appliance with water and do not immerse it in water.

If necessary, the housing may be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth.

After use, remove loose hair from the attachment used.

Always check the air intake openings for accumulated lint particles or hair and remove any found.
Disposal
Do not dispose of old or defective appliances in domestic garbage; this should only be done through public collection points.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired or interfered with

by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse. This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic items, bulbs etc. If the product fails to operate and needs to be returned, pack it carefully, enclosing your name and address and the reason for return. If within the guarantee period, please also provide the guarantee card and proof of purchase.
