HHP 4820 Cordless Scanner with ScanReader Flow / SerialMagic
Follow this guide to setup an
ScanChamp ScanReader Flow
This document contains specific instructions for the HHP 4820 Bluetooth model,
to be configured for ScanChamp ScanReader Flow on Windows.
Other HHP models should also work, using similar configuration.

You can use SerialMagic Professional on other platforms with the same result.
HHP Bluetooth scanners should also work with SerialMagic Pro on
Windows Mobile (Pocket-PC), BlackBerry, Windows, and Mac OSX.

Scanner Setup
The first step is to configure the HHP 4820 scanner to be in the proper mode,
with the correct parameters to work with ScanChamp ScanReader Flow (and SerialMagic).
Print out the following barcodes (pgs. 1-2 of this document), and scan them in order.
Once the scanner has been configured, see the section on setting up ScanReader Flow.
These codes can also be found in the HHP 4820 Configuration Guide.

ScanChamp ScanReader Flow Setup
Once the scanner has been configured, then next step is to setup ScanReader Flow.
Launch ScanChamp ScanReader Flow, and go to Settings. The following screen will appear:
1) Select COM port where
BlueSnap USB is located
2) Select “Scanner 1”
3) Choose “Bluetooth”
under Connection Type
4) Choose “MS1633”
under Scanner Type
5) Choose “115200”
under Bit Rate
6) Click the Assign button
7) Once the connection has been “Assigned” then select the “Pairing Wizard.”
8) The Pairing Wizard screen will appear; this is where the BlueSnap and HHP will pair.
To begin the process, search for the scanner by clicking “Discover Devices.”

9) Once the Discovery period has ended, the HHP scanner should appear in the list.
10) Select the HHP Scanner (IT5620 in this case) and click the Pair button.
The HHP scanner and BlueSnap USB will connect.
ScanReader Flow will bring you back to the “Settings” screen, just click “Save.”
Begin scanning with the HHP, your scans appear in the “Recent Scans” window!
