The ideal placement for the unit is at a
height between 7’ and 9’ (2-2.75 m).
Install with the mounting tabs at the top.

Activate the product

To activate the Collision Sentry Corner
Pro, pull out the plastic battery tab
located inside the unit. Remove the door
on the front of the unit, pull the tab and
replace the door. This activates the three
(3) “D” cell batteries that are included
with each unit. The LED lights will begin
blinking as the device becomes oriented
to the environment. During this warm-up
period, the blue low battery indicator
also flashes.

Note* - Always activate the unit prior to installation. Pull the tab, close the door and
the install the unit to the upright.

Installation on racking or metal

Use the integrated magnets on the back
to “snap” the unit to a metallic corner or
rack.

Tether to rack or corner

The included nylon tether provides extra
security when mounting the unit using
the magnets. Using the tether is optional
but recommended.

install the unit directly to non-metallic
surfaces.

Collision Sentry Corner Pro is now ready for use

The product needs about 20 seconds to
acclimate to the new environment and
“learn” its new surroundings. During
this warm-up, the warning lights will
flash. The lights will go solid red for four
seconds at the end of the warm-up
period. This indicates the product is
ready to use.

Alarm adjustments

Collision Sentry Corner Pro ships with the audio alarm
activated and set to the highest volume. This alarm can be
adjusted using the switches found inside the unit and located
below the battery compartment. (See illustration). There are
two switches used for adjusting the volume – a high/low
switch and an off/on switch.

1. Remove the door on the front of the unit.

2. Alarm switches are located below the battery compartment.

3. Adjust the switches to the desired setting.

4. Reinstall battery door.

5. Unit is now ready for use.

Normal Operation

When motion is detected on both sides of the corner, the LED
lights flash and the alarm sounds. The flashing and beeping
continue until 1.6 seconds after motion has stopped. Both
alarms – audio and visual – can be individually engaged or
disengaged. (See instruction 8)

Low-Battery

1. Depending on usage, in regard to the battery life of the three
(3) “D” cell batteries, all estimates point to a minimum of
twelve (12) months.

2. When battery voltage drops below a specified threshold, a
blue light on the front of the Collision Sentry flashes and
beeps. Install new batteries.

3. Note – when the low battery light activates, the Collision
Sentry continues to function for a short period of time. The
life cycle of the batteries depends on usage.

4. TO ENSURE FULL PROTECTION, CHANGE BATTERIES AS
SOON AS THE LOW-BATTERY SIGNAL FLASHES AND BEEPS.

Changing Batteries

The Collision Sentry Corner Pro operates on three (3) standard
“D” cell batteries that are easily replaceable.

1. Remove door on front of Collision Sentry Corner Pro unit.

2. Remove old batteries.

3. Insert new batteries in same orientation as the originals.

4. Reinstall door.

5. The unit is now ready to use.

Collision Sentry® Corner Pro Limitation

1. Collision Sentry Corner Pro is a motion sensor device that
works when both sensors detect movement at the same
time. Any factor that limits the sensors’ ability to see or
detect a change in infrared light, limits or prevents the
product from working properly. These factors include:

a. Objects blocking the sensors’ field of vision.
b. If vehicles or pedestrians do not exhibit any infrared

signature (highly unlikely, but possible) the sensors may
have trouble detecting motion. This will limit product
effectiveness.

c. Ambient temperature in the facility can affect the

sensitivity of the sensor.

d. Objects moving very slowly may not be detected.

2. The presence of certain (strong) electrical fields in the
environment could cause the Collision Sentry Corner Pro to
momentarily false alarm. In the (rare) event that interference
occurs, the user can try to mitigate the interference by
re-orienting or relocating the Collision Sentry Corner Pro or
by increasing the separation between the Collision Sentry
Corner Pro and the source of the interference.

3. Collision Sentry Corner Pro is designed for INDOOR USE only.

4. Collision Sentry Corner Pro is a collision warning system
designed to supplement safety procedures already in place.
Its use does not replace or eliminate the need for forklift
operators and pedestrians to use extreme caution when
maneuvering through the facility.

5. Proper training is vitally important when deploying Collision
Sentry Corner Pro. A thorough understanding of how the
product works, what the signals indicate, the features and
limitations is needed to maximize the product’s effectiveness.

We highly recommend testing the Collision Sentry Corner Pro
on-site to determine the fitness of the product for use in your
facility.

Limited Warranty Statement

Limited Warranty:

Sentry Protection LLC warrants that its products will be free of defects in materials or workmanship for one (1) year after delivery of the
product to the initial end-user. Sentry Protection LLC will, at its option, repair or replace without charge the Sentry product determined by
Sentry Protection LLC to be defective in material or workmanship. Any defects in materials or workmanship must be reported immediately to
either Sentry Protection LLC, or the seller of the Sentry product. Failure to provide timely notice so as to permit effective repair or replacement
shall void this limited warranty. This limited warranty covers materials, workmanship, and delivery of the product to the facility. Any damage to
the product due to shipment or delivery must be reported within 24 hours of the delivery of the product. This limited warranty shall only apply if
the product has been installed, maintained and used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and specifications, and has not been subject
to mishandling, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper maintenance, improper installation, improper use, alteration, fire, water or damage
because of other perils or natural disasters.

Para activar el Collision Sentry Corner Pro,
extraiga la pestaña de plástico de las pilas

Retire la tapa de la parte frontal de la unidad,

Funcionamiento normal

Cuando se detecta movimiento en ambos lados de la esquina, las
luces LED parpadean y suena la alarma. El parpadeo de las luces y
el pitido continúan y pararán 1,6 segundos después de que se haya
detenido el movimiento. Ambas alarmas, sonora y visual, se pueden
activar o desactivar individualmente (véase la instrucción 8).

Batería baja

1. Dependiendo del uso, con respecto a la duración de la batería
de las tres (3) baterías de celda "D", todas las estimaciones
apuntan a un mínimo de doce (12) meses.

2. Cuando el voltaje de la batería caiga por debajo de un umbral
especificado, la luz azul en la parte frontal del Collision Sentry
parpadeará y emitirá un pitido. Instale pilas nuevas.

3. Nota: cuando se activa la luz de batería baja, el Collision Sentry
continuará funcionando durante un corto periodo de tiempo. La

Limitación del Collision Sentry Corner Pro

1. El Collision Sentry Corner Pro es un dispositivo para la
detección de movimiento que funciona cuando ambos sensores
detectan movimiento al mismo tiempo. Cualquier factor que
limite la capacidad de los sensores para ver o detectar un
cambio en la luz infrarroja limitará o impedirá que el producto

emita una falsa alarma momentánea. En el caso (raro) de que
se produzca una interferencia, el usuario puede intentar mitigar
la interferencia reorientando o reubicando el Collision Sentry
Corner Pro o aumentando la separación entre el Collision
Sentry Corner Pro y la fuente de la interferencia.

3. El Collision Sentry Corner Pro está diseñado para USO
EXCLUSIVO EN INTERIORES.

4. El Collision Sentry Corner Pro es un sistema de advertencia de

necesidad de que los operadores de carretillas elevadoras y

Pour activer le Collision Sentry Corner Pro,
retirez la languette en plastique des piles
située à l’intérieur de l’appareil. Retirez le
couvercle à l’avant de l’appareil, tirez sur
la languette et replacez le couvercle. Ceci
active les trois (3) piles « D » qui sont
incluses avec chaque unité. Les voyants
LED se mettent à clignoter tandis que le
dispositif s’oriente par rapport à
l’environnement. Durant cette période de
chauffe, le voyant bleu indiquant que la batterie est faible clignote également.

Remarque : Activez toujours l’appareil avant de l’installer. Tirez sur la languette,
fermez le couvercle et installez l'unité sur le montant.

Le Collision Sentry Corner Pro est livré avec l’alarme audio

Fonctionnement normal

Lorsqu’un mouvement est détecté des deux côtés de l'angle, les
voyants LED clignotent et l’alarme émet un son. Le clignotement
des voyants et le son de l’alarme continuent jusqu’à 1,6 seconde
après que le mouvement s’est arrêté. Les deux alarmes – audio et
visuelle – peuvent être individuellement activées ou désactivées
(voir instructions 8).

Batterie faible

1. Selon l’utilisation, en ce qui concerne la durée de vie des trois
(3) piles «D», toutes les estimations indiquent un minimum de

Restriction du Collision Sentry Corner Pro

1. Le Collision Sentry Corner Pro est un détecteur de mouvement
qui fonctionne lorsque les deux détecteurs détectent un
mouvement simultanément. Tout facteur qui limite la capacité
des détecteurs à voir ou à détecter un changement au moyen
de lumière infrarouge limite ou empêche le produit de
fonctionner correctement. Ces facteurs comprennent:

a. Des objets bloquant le champ de vision de détecteurs.
b. Si des véhicules ou des piétons ne manifestent pas de

signature infrarouge (très peu probable, mais tout de même

Pro à émettre momentanément une fausse alarme. Dans le
(rare) cas où une interférence se produirait, l’utilisateur peut
tenter d’atténuer l’interférence en réorientant ou en déplaçant
le Collision Sentry Corner Pro ou en augmentant la distance de

Entnahme aus der Packung

Wenn das Produkt sichtliche Schäden
aufweist, setzen Sie Sentry oder Ihren
autorisierten Vertragshändler
unverzüglich davon in Kenntnis.

Idealerweise sollte das Gerät in einer
Höhe von 2 bis 2,75 m (7 bis 9 Fuß)
angebracht werden. Befestigen Sie das
Gerät mit den Befestigungslaschen an
der Oberseite.

Produktaktivierung

Ziehen Sie den Plastikstreifen aus dem
Gerät, um den Collision Sentry Corner Pro
zu aktivieren. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung
an der Gerätevorderseite, ziehen Sie den
Streifen heraus und setzen Sie die
Abdeckung wieder ein. Anschließend
werden die drei (3) Monozellen aktiviert,
die in jedem Gerät enthalten sind. Die
LED-Leuchten beginnen zu blinken, sobald
das Gerät sich in der Umgebung orientiert.
In dieser Warmlaufphase blinkt die blaue Batteriestandsanzeige.

Hinweis* - Aktivieren Sie das Gerät vor der Installation. Ziehen Sie den Streifen
heraus, schließen Sie die Abdeckung und installieren Sie das Gerät in einer
aufrechten Position.

auf nichtmetallischen Oberflächen.

Der Collision Sentry Corner Pro ist nun betriebsbereit

Es dauert etwa 20 Sekunden, bis sich
das Gerät an die neue Umgebung
akklimatisiert und diese erkannt hat. In
dieser Warmlaufphase blinken die
Warnleuchten. Die Leuchten blinken am
Ende der Warmlaufphase vier Sekunden
lang rot. Das Gerät kann nun verwendet
werden.

Alarmeinstellungen

Der Audioalarm des Collision Sentry Corner Pro ist im
Auslieferungszustand aktiviert und auf maximale Lautstärke
eingestellt. Dieser Alarm kann mit den Schaltern angepasst
werden, die sich im Gerät unter dem Batteriefach befinden
(siehe Abbildung). Es gibt zwei Schalter zur Lautstärkerege­lung: einen Laut/Leise-Schalter und einen Ein/Aus-Schalter.

1. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung an der Gerätevorderseite.

2. Die Alarmschalter befinden sich unter dem Batteriefach.

3. Verwenden Sie die Schalter, um die Lautstärke wie gewün­scht einzustellen.

4. Setzen Sie die Batterieabdeckung wieder ein.

5. Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

Normalbetrieb

Die LED-Leuchten blinken, und der Alarm ertönt, wenn auf beiden
Seiten des Eckprofils eine Bewegung erfasst wird. Nachdem die
Bewegung beendet wurde, blinken die Leuchten, und der Alarm
ertönt 1,6 Sekunden lang. Beide Alarme – akustisch und visuell –
können individuell ausgelöst und beendet werden (siehe
Anweisung 8).

Niedriger Batteriestand

1. In Bezug auf die Batterielebensdauer der drei (3) "D"

-Zellenbatterien geben alle Schätzungen je nach Verwendung
ein Minimum von zwölf (12) Monaten an.

2. Wenn die Batteriespannung unter einen bestimmten Wert fällt,
blinkt die blaue Leuchte an der Vorderseite des Collision Sentry,
und der Alarm ertönt. Setzen Sie neue Batterien ein.

3. Hinweis - Wenn die blaue Batteriestandsanzeige blinkt, kann
der Collision Sentry noch für kurze Zeit weiterverwendet
werden. Die Lebensdauer der Batterien hängt von der Nutzung
ab.

4. UM KOMPLETTEN SCHUTZ ZU GEWÄHRLEISTEN, SOLLTEN DIE
BATTERIEN AUSGETAUSCHT WERDEN, SOBALD DIE
BATTERIESTANDSANZEIGE BLINKT UND DER ALARM ERTÖNT.

Batterien austauschen

Der Collision Sentry Corner Pro wird mit drei (3) normalen
Monozellen betrieben, die einfach ausgetauscht werden können.

1. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung an der Vorderseite des Collision
Sentry Corner Pro.

2. Entnehmen Sie die alten Batterien.

3. Setzen Sie die neuen Batterien genauso wie die alten Batterien
ein.

4. Setzen Sie die Abdeckung wieder ein.

5. Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

Einschränkungen des Collision Sentry® Corner Pro

1. Der Bewegungssensor Collision Sentry Corner Pro wird
aktiviert, wenn beide Sensoren gleichzeitig eine Bewegung
erfassen. Jeder Faktor, der die Fähigkeit des Sensors
einschränkt, Veränderungen im Infrarotbereich zu erkennen
oder zu erfassen, beeinträchtigt oder verhindert die
Funktionsfähigkeit des Gerätes. Zu diesen Faktoren zählen unter
anderem:

a. Gegenstände, die das Sichtfeld des Sensors blockieren.
b. Wenn Fahrzeuge oder Fußgänger keine Infrarotsignatur

aufweisen (äußerst unwahrscheinlich, aber möglich), haben
die Sensoren eventuell Probleme bei der
Bewegungserkennung. Dadurch wird die Effektivität des
Gerätes eingeschränkt.

c. Die Umgebungstemperatur im Gebäude kann die Sensibilität

des Sensors einschränken.

d. Objekte, die sich sehr langsam bewegen, werden eventuell

nicht erkannt.

2. Bestimmte (starke) elektromagnetische Felder in der Umgebung
können dazu führen, dass der Collision Sentry Corner Pro
vorübergehend einen Fehlalarm auslöst. Im (seltenen) Fall einer
Störung kann der Benutzer versuchen, die Störung zu mindern,
indem er den Collision Sentry Corner Pro neu ausrichtet oder
versetzt bzw. indem er die Entfernung zwischen dem Collision
Sentry Corner Pro und der Störungsquelle vergrößert.

3. Der Collision Sentry Corner Pro darf nur im GEBÄUDEINNERN
betrieben werden.

4. Der Collision Sentry Corner Pro ist ein Kollisionswarnsystem,
das ergänzend zu bereits verwendeten Sicherheitsverfahren
genutzt werden kann. Auch wenn der Collision Sentry Corner
Pro verwendet wird, müssen Gabelstaplerfahrer und Fußgänger
weiterhin äußerste Vorsicht walten lassen, während sie sich im
Gebäude aufhalten.

5. Für die Verwendung des Collision Sentry Corner Pro ist eine
angemessene Schulung erforderlich. Um die Effektivität des
Geräts maximal auszunutzen, ist es wichtig, die
Gerätefunktionen, die Bedeutung der Signale sowie die
Eigenschaften und Einschränkungen des Geräts zu verstehen.

Wir empfehlen dringend, den Collision Sentry Corner Pro vor Ort
zu testen, um die Eignung des Geräts für die Verwendung in Ihrem
Gebäude zu ermitteln.

Garantiebedingungen

Beschränkte Garantie:

Sentry Protection LLC gewährleistet, dass ihre Produkte für die Dauer eines (1) Jahres nach Auslieferung des Produkts an den ursprünglichen
Endverbraucher frei von Material- und Produktionsmängeln sind. Sentry Protection LLC wird das Sentry-Produkt, das nach Meinung von Sentry
Protection LLC einen Material- oder Produktionsmangel aufweist, nach eigenem Ermessen kostenlos reparieren oder ersetzen. Jegliche
Material- und Produktionsmängel müssen Sentry Protection LLC oder dem Verkäufer des Sentry-Produkts unverzüglich mitgeteilt werden.
Wenn die Benachrichtigung nicht rechtzeitig erfolgt, um eine angemessene Reparatur oder einen Ersatz zu ermöglichen, verliert diese
Garantie ihre Gültigkeit. Diese beschränkte Garantie deckt Materialien, Produktion und Lieferung des Produkts an den Standort des Kunden ab.
