USB Data Logger
Operation Manual
Rev 1.5
Introduction
Temp USB and HTemp USB are low cost, battery operated, easy to install Temperature/Temperature and Humidity loggers with USB interface, specially designed for
monitoring warehouses, galleries, greenhouses, refrigerator, cold-chain and container transport applications. Once employed the logger will record temperature/
humidity and store the recordings in its internal memory. This history of measurements can then be downloaded into a PC in the form of spreadsheet or graphical
representation for further analysis or for record keeping. The loggers are often used
by shipping companies to show the temperature of the container/goods shipped
during transportation.
The LCD display at the front can give current value, as well as Maximum and Minimum readings and upper and lower limits. The loggers can also indicate maximum
set value by a blinking LED and Battery low alert.
Features
• Easy to use USB logger.
• Logged data can be transferred to PC and saved as spreadsheet or graphical
representation.
• Temperature and humidity upper/lower limit can be set. When this upper/low
limit is reached, the LED will turn on.
• Ultra-low consumption design, 1/2AA 3.6V Li battery, lasts for 12 months.
• Highly sensitive sensor gives fast response and high accuracy.
• Waterproof and dustproof standard IP67, resisting moisture, dew-point
temperature and dust.

Quick Start
Follow the below procedure to start using your data logger:
1. Connect the data logger to a free USB port on the computer.
2. Start ToAnalyzer U (in enclosed CD) software on PC.
3. From the toolbar select ‘Connect’.
4. Then you can setup or download data/delete data from the logger.
5. Unplug the logged, and then the logger is in stop mode.
6. Press ‘OK’ for about 5 seconds, the logger will power on (LOG mode) or off (OFF
mode).
Note: The logger has three modes:
• LOG: In this mode, the logger samples and records data timely.
• OFF: In this mode, the logger stops to sample and record, and the LCD display is
off.
Connecting the Logger to PC
To connect the logger to you PC, follow the following steps:
1. Connect the USB of your logger to a free USB port on your pc .
Please note: IfyouareconnectingtheloggertothePCforthersttime,thelogger
will automatically be recognized and installed by the PC.
2. Start ToAnalyzer analysis software.
3. Clikc the ‘Connect’ icon from the toolbar, then ToAnalyzer connects to the logger.
If more than one logger is connected to your computer at the same time, the program
will ask you to choose COM port manually.
Note: The windows operating system can not handle USB devices being unplugged
and plugged back very quickly. When unplugging the logger, wait for about 5 seconds
before plugging it back in again. If you unplug and plug back a device too quickly, the
computer may stop recognizing any USB devices on that port. If this happens you will
have to restart the computer. This is a windows USB problem and is not related to
ToAnalyzer software.
