INSTALLING THE T-LOUD
1. Open the battery cover by sliding the cover. (Fig A)
2. Insert standard 9V battery. and place it into the compartment.
(Fig B)
3. When replacing the battery disconnect the T-LOUD from the
phone.
4. Unplug the handset cord from the phone (normally in the
base). A screwdriver may be necessary for this to push the tab
down on to the connector.
5. Plug the short cord attached to the T-LOUD into the base of
the phone where the handset was originally. (Fig C)
6. Plug the handset into the T-LOUD
7. VELCRO™ strips are provided - the T-LOUD can be attached
to the phone or the desk for security.
That’s it - you’re connected!

USING THE T-LOUD
1. The T-LOUD will switch on and off automatically every time you
lift or replace the handset of the phone.
2. Use the phone normally and turn the rotary control to increase
the volume to a comfortable level.
3. When the battery need replacing the red light (LED) will come
on for a few seconds when the handset is lifted. The T-LOUD will
continue to operate for a few hours but it is advisable to get a
new alkaline battery (type:PP3) as soon as possible.
IF THERE IS A PROBLEM
1. Check the battery
2. Remove the T-LOUD from the phone and connect the handset
normally by plugging into the base of the phone. If the phone
works OK it may be that the T-LOUD has a fault. If the problem
persists it is likely that there is a problem with your phone. For
service, please return the T-LOUD to the place you purchased it
from. Submit a proof of purchase if this is a warranty claim. The
T-LOUD is guaranteed for a period of 1 year from date of
purchase.
