The TCI 01 Telephone
Controlling Interface

Safety information

Never open the TCI 01! If the unit is opened by
customers in breach of this instruction, the
warranty becomes null and void.

Use the TCI 01 in dry rooms only and keep
liquids and small parts which conduct
electricity away from the TCI 01 and its
connecting sockets.
For cleaning, use a dry cloth only. Do not use
any solvents or cleansing agents.

Overview

The TCI 01 Telephone Controlling Interface
y is an additional device for the digital wireless systems of

Sennheiser Communications.

y makes it more convenient to make or receive calls since

you no longer need to lift off the telephone’s handset. A
call is accepted or ended simply by pressing the wireless
system’s hook button.

y is operated either with a mechanical handset lifter or

with a telephone featuring an AEI or DHSG interface.
When used with the TCI 01, telephones featuring an AEI
or DHSG interface do no longer require a mechanical
handset lifter.

Setup

Attention!

Before installing the TCI 01, disconnect your
telephone from the telephone network!

See the diagram below on how to connect the TCI 01 to a

mechanical handset lifter. Please note that the WD Aud

modular socket is not connected. To power the handset
lifter, either use the mains unit supplied with the handset
lifter or a mains unit from Sennheiser Communications
(available as an accessory).

Maintenance and care

Use a soft or, if necessary, slightly damp cloth to clean the
TCI 01. Do not use any solvents or cleansing agents as
these can damage the varnish of the TCI 01.

Übersicht

Das TCI 01 Telefon Interface
y ist ein Zusatzgerät für drahtlose Digitalsysteme von

Sennheiser Communications.

y vereinfacht es, ein Gespräch zu tätigen oder

anzunehmen, da man den Hörer nicht mehr abheben
muss. Durch Drücken der Gabeltaste des drahtlosen
Digitalsystems nehmen Sie ein Gespräch an bzw.
beenden es.

y wird entweder zusammen mit einem mechanischen

Inbetriebnahme

Achtung!

Bevor Sie das TCI 01 anschließen, trennen Sie
Ihr Telefon vom Telefonnetz!

Entnehmen Sie dem unten stehenden Anschluss-Schema,
wie Sie das TCI 01 an einen mechanischen Handset Lifter
anschließen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die WD Aud Buchse
nicht angeschlossen ist. Außerdem benötigen Sie für den
Handset Lifter ein Netzteil – entweder vom Hersteller des
Handset Lifters oder von Sennheiser Communications
(optionales Zubehör).

Wartung und Pflege

Vue d’ensemble

L’interface de commande de téléphone TCI 01
y est un accessoire supplémentaire pour les systèmes

numériques sans fil de Sennheiser communications.

y permet de passer ou de recevoir des appels plus

facilement, puisqu’il n’est plus nécessaire de soulever le
combiné du téléphone. Pour prendre ou terminer un
appel, il suffit d’appuyer sur le bouton d’activation du
système sans fil.

Installation

Attention !

Avant d’installer le TCI 01, débrancher votre
téléphone du réseau téléphonique !

Le schéma ci-après illustre le raccordement du TCI 01 à un

dispositif mécanique de soulèvement du combiné.

Remarquez que la prise modulaire WD Aud n’est pas
connectée. Pour l’alimentation de ce dispositif, utilisez soit
le bloc secteur qui est fournit ensemble avec le dispositif
mécanique de soulèvement du combiné, soit un bloc
secteur de Sennheiser Communications (accessoire en
option).

Maintenance et entretien

Pour le nettoyage, utiliser exclusivement un chiffon doux et,

Panoramica

Installatie

Attentie!

Maak de verbinding van uw telefoon los van
het telefoonnetwerk voordat u de TCI 01
installeert!

De onderstaande tekening laat zien hoe u de TCI 01 op de

mechanische handsetlift moet aansluiten. In dit geval is de

modulaire contactdoor WD Aud niet aangesloten. Om het
liftmechanisme van de handset van stroom te voorzien,
moet u ofwel gebruik maken van de hoofdunit die bij het
liftmechanisme wordt geleverd, of van de hoofdunit van
