Beschreibung

Das TELEMIKE entsteht durch Kombination des Spezial-Teleskops
MZS 802 mit einem Elektret-Kondensator-Mikrofon der Modulserie von

Senn heiser electronic. Das TELEMIKE verbessert die Aufnahmebedin-
gungen bei Reportage und Tonfilm. Die für dieses Einsatzgebiet be-

sonders gut geeigneten Elektret-Rohrricht-Mikrofone MKE 801,
MKE 802, MKE 803 und MKE 883 aus der Reihe der Modul-Mikrofone

können durch dieses Teleskop um etwa 70 cm verlängert werden und
erreichen so eine Gesamtlänge von etwa 1 m. Dadurch wird es möglich,

die MikrofonenäherandieSchallquelleheranzubringenoder- durchdie
VerlängerungunddasinmehrerenWinkelnrastbareGelenk- überhaupt

erst auf die Schallquelle zu richten. Zwischen dem Teleskop und dem
Gelenk ist ein Schwingmetall angebracht, das den Körperschall (Hantie-
rungsgeräusche, Kameramotor-Geräusche) auf ein Minimum reduziert.

Über spezielle Adapter, wie z. B. MZG 802, kann das Spezial-Teleskop
MZS 802 an alleTonfilmkameras mit '/;' Gewinde angeschraubt werden.
Diese Anordnung stellt eine wesentliche Hilfe für den »Ein-Mann- Ton-
filmer« dar, da der störende Luftschall der Kamera durch den größeren
Abstand zwischen Mikrofon-Modul und Kamera und den guten Bünde-
lungsgrad des Mikrofons (ME 80 und ME 88) weitgehend ausgeblendet

wird.

ElektrischerAnschluß

Ausführliche Anschlußhinweise enthalten die »Mikrofon-Anschlußc
Fibel« *, die den Anschluß an alle auf dem europäischen Markt erhält-

lichen Tonbandgeräte und Cassetten-Recorder beschreibt und die
»Camera-Anschluß-Fibel« *, die den richtigen Anschluß an Amateur-
Tonfilm-Kameras beinhaltet. Auch die notwendigen Adapterkabel gehen
aus diesen Informationsschriften hervor.

Bedienungshinweise

Das Spezial-Teleskop MZS 802 wird zum Betrieb einfach zwischen Griff
+ Speise-Modul und Mikrofon-Modul eines Sennheiser-MKE-Mikrofons

geschraubt.DieAnschlußtechnikdesverwendetenGriff + Speise-

Moduls ändert sich dadurch nicht.
Neben der Möglichkeit, das TELEMIKE für den Ein-Mann-Betrieb direkt

mit der Kamera zu verschrauben, bietet sich das Gerät aber auch als
handliches Angelmikrofon - als verlängerter Arm - für Reportagezwecke
an. Das am Teleskopende befindliche Gelenk gestattet es, den Mikrofon-
Modul rastbar in drei Gebrauchsstellungen (0°, 30°, 90°) und eine
TransportsteIlung (180°) zu bringen. So kann der Mikrofon-Modul (vor-
zugsweise das ME 88 oder ME 80) stets optimal auf das aufzunehmende
Schallereignis ausgerichtet werden.

100-Hz-Filter MZF 802

Dieses Filter wurde speziell für den Griff + Speise-Modul K 2 N bzw.

K 2-U entwickelt und ergänzt somit sinnvoll das Modulsystem der Elek-
tret-Kondensator-Mikrofone. Das Filter bewirkt eine Tiefenabsenkung
von ca. 12 dB pro Oktave unterhalb 100 Hz und kann deshalb vorteilhaft
immer dann verwendet werden, wenn tieffrequente Tonstörungen die

Aufnahme beeinflussen,
Wenn die Griff + Speise-Moduln K 2 N oder K 2-U aus Phantom-Netz-

geräten gespeist werden, so muß das Filter stets zwischen Netzgerät und

nachfolgenden Verstärker eingefügt werden,

Kamera-Mikrofon-Halterung MZG 802

Zur Befestigung an anderen Kameras mit '/4" -Gewinde dient die Kamera-

Mikrofon-Halterung MZG 802 von Sennheiser electronic. Die Auflage-
fläche des Gelenkes ist zum Schutz des Kameragehäuses mit einem

elastischen Polster versehen. Nach Lösen der zwischen den beiden

Klemmstücken für den Mikrofonmodulliegenden Schraube kann der
Traversenteil, arrettierbar um 90° gedreht, wieder festgeschraubt werden

und bildet so einen kleinen seitlichen Ausleger. Damit kann das TELE-

MIKE auch an Kameras befestigt werden, bei denen das Gewinde z. B,

hinter dem Griff vorgesehen ist.

Windschirme

Bei Außenaufnahmen und bei schnellem Schwenken des TELEMIKE
wird unbedingt die Verwendung eines geeigneten Windschirmes

empfohlen, um unerwünschte Störungen in der Tonaufnahme zu redu-

zieren. Für den Richtrohr-Mikrofon-Modul ME 80 muß der Windschirm

MZW 415 verwendet werden, da die ganze Länge des ME 80 umhüllt

werden muß. Die kürzeren Mikrofon-Moduln ME 20 und ME 40 können

mit einem Windschirm MZW 30 wirksam geschützt werden. Das ME 88
besitzt bereits einen fest montierten Windschutz.

General

The TELEMIKE is formed by combination of the special telescope

MZS 802 with an electret condenser microphone of the modular series

from Senn heiser electronic. The TELEMIKE improves the recording
conditions for reportages and sound film. For this purpose the electret-
shotgun types MKE 801, MKE 802, MKE 803 and MKE 883 may be
extended by approximately 70 cm resulting in a totallength of about 1 m.
This way it is prossible to move the microphone closer to the sound

source and also to direct the module towards it since the swivel mount
has several click-stop positions. A shock mount has been inserted

between the telescopic rod and the swivel to reduce vibrational noise
(camera motor noise, handling noise) to aminimum.

With special adapters, as e. g. the MZG 802, the telescope MZS 802 can

be fixed to allsound film cameras with 1/4' thread. This is of considerable
advantage to the single camera operator. The interfering airborne sound

from the camera is reduced because of the larger distance between the
microphone module and the camera and due to the excellent directivity of
the microphone module ME 80 and ME 88.

Electrical connections

Explicit instructions for the connections are given in our "Mikrofon-
Anschluß-Fibel" * which mainly describes the cOr]nections to tape

recorders and cassette-machines and also in the "Camera-Anschluß-

Fibel" * containing the correct connections for amateur sound film
cameras. The neccessary adapter cables are indicated in these booklets.

Operation

Insert the special telescope MZS 802 between the powering module and
the microphone module of a Sennheiser-MKE-microphone. The
electrical connections of the powering module used remain unchanged.
Besides the possibility to mount the TELEMIKE directly to the camera for

singlemannedoperationit mayaisobe usedasahandyboom- asan

joint which allows the mike module to be positioned: 0°, 30°, 90° for

operationand 180°for storage.Themicrophonemodule- preferably
ME88 or ME80 - can thus always be optimally positioned towards the

sound source to be recorded.

100 Hz filter MZF 802

This filter has been developed especially for the powering module K 2 N
resp. K 2-U and therefore usefully completes the modular system of the
electret condenser microphones. The filter attenuates frequencies below
100 Hz by approximately 12 dB per octave. It therefore can be used
advantageously when low frequeney interferenees spoil the recording.
When the powering modules K 2 N or K 2-U are powered from phantom
power supplies the filter has always to be inserted between power supply
and the following amplifier.

Camera-microphone mount MZG 802

The camera-mierophone mount MZG 802 from Senn heiser eleetronie
serves to fix the TELEMIKE to eameras with 1/4" thread. To protect the
surfaee of the camera housing the serew-on surfaee of the mount has
been fitted with an elastie pad. Ifthe serew between the clamps is loose-
ned the whole bar-part may be turned by 90°. Iffastened in this position it
forms a small boom-type mount. This way the TELEMIKE ean also be
mounted to cameras which have a thread e. g. behind the grip.

Windscreens

For outdoor recordings and when moving the TELEMIKE quickly it is
recommended to use a suitable windscreen to reduce undesired inter-

ferences. For the microphone module ME 80 the windscreen MZW 415
has to be used since the whole length of the ME 80 has to be covered.
The shorter microphone modules ME 20 and ME 40 can be effectively
protected with the windscreen MZW 30. The ME 88 is already fitted with

a fixed mounted windscreen.

Description

Le TELEMIKE est une eombinaison d'une perehe teleseopique speeiale
MZS 802 et d'un miero eleetrostatique modulaire de Sennheiser elee-

tronie. Le TELEMIKE ameliore la qualite de prise de san en reportage et

pour les eameras sonores. Les mieros direetionnels MKE 801, MKE 802,
MKE 803 et MKE 883 de la gamme des mieros modulaires, partieuliere-
ment destines aces prises de san, peuvent ainsi etre rallonges de 70 em,
ce qui leur donne une longueur totale d'appx. 1 m. On se rapprache done
d'environ 1 m de la souree sonore, avee la possibilite de eontröler I'ineli-
naison du miero. Entre I'extremite du teleseope et I'artieulation se trouve
un element amortisseur, qui atlenue les bruits parasites d'origine
meeanique (moteur, frottements).

A I'aide d'adaptateurs speeiaux (MZG 802), la perehe teleseopique
MZS 802 peut etre vissee sur toutes les eameras sonores a filetage' 14".
Cet arrangement est d'une aide non negligeable pour le eineaste-preneur
de san «solitaire» puisque I'agrandissement de ladistanee miero-eamera
et la bonne direetivite du miero (ME 80 et ME 88) eliminent en grande
partie les bruits genants de moteur.

Raccordement electrique

Des indieation preeises et detaillees sur les possibilites de raeeordement
des mieros a taus les magnetophones et magnetophones a eassettes
qui se trouvent sur le marehe europeen, sont reunis dans la doeumen-

tation «Guide de branehement pour mieros» *. Le «Guide de branehe-

ment pour eameras» * eontient les branehements aux eameras sonores.
Les eables requis pour les raeeordements sont indiques dans ces deux
doeumentations.

Indications d'emploi

La perehe teleseopique MZS 802 se visse taut simplement entre le
module d'alimentation et le module miero d'un mierophone modulaire
MKE de Sennheiser. Lateehnique de raeeordement de I'alimentation ne
subit pas de ehangement.
Apart la possibilite pour le cineaste «solitaire», de visser direetement le

TELEMIKE sur sa eamera, le MZS 802 se presente egalement eomme

perehe tres maniable pour les reportages. L'artieulation qui se trouve au
baut de la perehe teleseopique permet differentes inclinaisons (00, 300,

900) et une position de transport (1800). De eette fa<;:onune position
optimale entre lasouree sonore et le module miero (de preference ME 88
ou ME 80) est toujours garantie.

Filtre 100Hz MZF 802

Ce filtre a ete speeialement developpe pour le module d'alimentation
K 2 N respeetivement K 2-U et eomplete ainsi le systeme a modules des
micros a eleetret. Le filtre a une attenuation des basses frequenees de
12 dB/oetave au dessous de 100 Hz et peut etre utilise si des basses
frequenees perturbent la prise de san.
Si les modules d'alimentation K 2 N ou K 2-U sont alimentes par une
alimentation fantöme, le filtre est a interealer entre I'alimentation et
I'amplifieateur suivant.

Fixation-micro MZG 802 pour cameras

Pour fixer le TELEMI KE sur d'autres eameras a filetage '/4", Sennheiser
eleetronie vous propose une fixation miero MZG 802 pour eameras. La
surfaee de support de I'artieulation est equipee d'une eouehe proteetriee
elastique pour proteger la eamera. Apres avoir desserre lavis situee entre
les deux elements de serrage, eelte partie peut etre tournee de 900 et
reste encliquetee dans eelte position. Resserrer la vis ensuite. De eette
fa<;:onil est possible de fixer le TELEMIKE ades eameras dont le
taraudage se trouve derriere la poignee.

Bonnettes anti-vent

Pour des prises de san a I'exterieur et dans le eas de changements rapi-

des de direetion du TELEMIKE, iI est absolument necessaire d'utiliser

une bonnette anti-vent appropriee pour eliminer les bruits parasites. Le
module miero ME 80 doit etre equipe de la bonnette anti-vent MZW 415,

puisque taute la longueur du ME 80 doit etre protegee. Les modules

ME 20 et ME 40 plus courts peuvent etre proteges par la bonnette
MZW 30. Le ME 88 possede deja une bonnette anti-vent montee a

demeure.
