Es sind zwei Speisungsarten möglich: Batteriespeisung, 1,5V Typ

Mignon LR 06 oder Phantomspeisung, 12 bis 48 V.

phantomgespeist werden.

Prinzipschaltbild Phantomspeisung

Hinweis: Das Mikrofon enthält eine Vorrangschaltung für Phantom-
speisung. Diese Schaltung sorgt bei wechselnden Speisungsarten
dafür, daß die Batterie bei Phantomspeisung abgeschaltet wird.

Anschluß

Die Impedanz des Mikrofons beträgt 200Q. Der Ausgang ist sym-
metrisch beschaltet. Die Eingangsimpedanz des angeschlossenen
Gerätes sollte mindestens 600 Q betragen.

Besprechen des Mikrofons

Zur optimalen Nutzung des Mikrofons sind folgende Hinweise zu
beachten:

Einstellen der Mikrofonempfindlichkeit

Das Mikrofon kann einen maximalen Schalldruckpegel von
>140 dB verzerrungsfrei verarbeiten.Bei Erreichendieses Pegels
beträgt die Signalspannung am Mikrofonausgang ca.1000mV.

Um zu vermeiden, daß die Mikrofoneingangsstufe des nachge-
schalteten Gerätes übersteuertwird, kann die Mikrofonempfind-

lichkeit in zwei Stufen abgesenkt werden: -10 dB und -20 dB.
Zur Betätigung des Schaltersist das mitgelieferte Umschaltwerk-
zeug oder ein geeignetes Hilfsmittel zuverwenden.

Befestigen des Mikrofons

Zum Befestigen des Mikrofons auf Stativen dient die mitgelieferte
Schnellwechselklemme MZA
%"-Gewinde ist die Klemme mit einem ausschraubbaren Wechsel-
gewinde ausgestattet.

Verwendung des Roll-oft-Filters

Nach Abschrauben der Griffhülseist ein Schalterzugänglich, mit
dem das eingebaute Roll-off-Filterein- bzw. ausgeschaltet werden

kann.

Die durch das Filter bewirkte Tiefenabsenkung läßt sich zur Kom-
pensation des Nahbesprechungseffektes und zur Unterdrückung

von Trittschall-, Körperschall- und Windgeräuschen nutzen.

Phantom Power Supply

The microphone can also be powered via phantom power supply,
with OC voltage between 12 and 48 V.

Note: The microphone is equipped with a priority circuit for phan-

tom power supply. When the power supply type is changed this

circuit switches off the battery when the phantom power supply is
used.

Connection

The microphone has an impedance of 200 Q. The wiring of the

output issymmetrical. The input impedance of the equipment to

which the microphone is connected should be at least600 Q.

Usingthe microphone

In order to get the most out of this microphone please observe the
following instructions:

MKE 4032 P 3'("Rock" version)
. Hold the microphone very dose to the mouth (Iip contact)
. Avoid covering the protective mesh cage with your hand
. If distortion accurs correct the setting at the mixing desk or

switch in the pre-attenuation (see also "Adjusting the Micro-
phone Sensitivity")

. Speak across the top of the microphone
. Avoid covering the protective mesh cage with your hand
.In the event of wind interference or extreme demands upon pop

noise use the supplied windscreen

Adjustingthe Microphone Sensitivity

The microphone can process a maximum sound pressure level of

>140 dB without distortion. When this level is reached the signal

voltage at the microphone output is approx. 1000 mV. In order to

prevent the microphone input stage of the connected equipment
from being overloaded the microphone sensitivity can be stepped
down in two steps: -10 dB and -20 dB. The sensitivity switch
must be operated either with the included switching tao I or with

same other suitable tao I.

Usingthe Roll off Filter

The built-in roll off filter can be switched on and off with the help of

a switch which can be accessed after the grip sleeve has been
unscrewed.

The bass roll off caused by the filter can be used in order to com-

pensate the close talking effecl and to suppress impact, handling
and wind noise.

Mountingthe Microphone

The MZA 4031 quick-release clip included with the microphone is

used for mounting the microphone on stands. The clamp is fitted
with an interchangeable thread which can be unscrewed to allow
the unit to be adapted for Vg",Y{ and o/g"threads.

Mise en place de la pile

Circuit fantöme

Le microphone peut etre alimente par une tension continue d'une

valeur situee entre 12 et 48 V.

Remarque: utiliser seulement

des piles alcines du type

LR 061,5 V. Schema de principe du circuit fantöme

Remarque: Le microphone possede un circuit pour I'alimentation
fantöme. En cas de changement du mode d'alimentation, ce circuit
fait que Japile ne soit pas utilisee, lors de I'utilisation du circuit

fantöme.

B'ranchement

L'impedance du microphone est de 200 Q. La sortie est connectee
symetriquement. L'impedance d'entree de I'appareil EIbrancher

devrait etre d'au moins 600 Q.

Remarque: Cette verification

Utilisation du microphone

Pourune utilisation optimale,suivre les indications suivantes:

MKE 4032 P 3 (version «rock»)

. Approcher le microphone le plus pres possible de la bouche

(contact des levres)
. Ne pas couvrir le pavillon acoustique avec la main
. En cas de distorsion, corriger la mise au point au pupitre de me-

lange ou commuter la preaMnuation (voir paragraphe «Reglage

de la sensibilite du microphone»)

. Parler si possible par dessus le micraphone
. Ne pas couvir le pavillon acoustique avec la main
. Utiliser la bonnetle anti-vent, en cas de perturbations dues au

vent ou en cas d'exigences trap elevees de I'attenuation popp.

Reglage de la sensibilitedumicrophone

Le microphone peut traiter sans distorsion un niveau maximal de

pressions sonores de > 140 dB. Lorsque ce niveau est attein!, la

tension du signal a la sortie du microphone s'eleve a env. 100 mV.

Pour eviter que I' etage entree-micro de I'appareil suivant ne soit
surmodule, la sensibilite du microphone peut etre diminuee de
deux valeurs: -10 dB et - 20 dB. Le commutateur sera actionne

par I'outillivre avec le micro ou par et autre moyen equivalent.

Fixationdu microphone

La fixation rapide MZA 4031, livree avec le micro, sert a le monter
sur un pied, Elle possede un filetage devissable pour I'adaption

sur filetage Vg",V{ et %",
