IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all of the instructions before using the Vitacrush blender and ensure that other operators also read and are made to understand all safety and operating instructions. Save these instructions for Future reference.
Thank you for purchasing a Semak Vitacrush Blender.
1. Important notice: Ensure that the power supply is switched off before connecting
to the electric outlet.
2. Use only on AC 220-240V – 50 Hz only.
3. Do not use an extension cord.
4. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or motor end of the
appliance in water or any other liquid. Never put the Vitacrush in a dishwasher.
5. Always switch off at the power outlet before removing the plug. Remove by
holding the plug - do not pull on the cord. When the appliance is not in use, or prior to cleaning, always switch off the power and removes the plug.
6. Disconnect power cord from the electrical outlet when the blender is not in use.
7. The Vitacrush blender should not be used by children or infirm persons and care
should be taken when used near these persons. The Vitacrush blender should not be used outdoors. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Never leave the blender unattended.
8. Avoid physical contact with moving parts. The cutting blades are very sharp and
care is needed when handling cutting blades, and only when the Vitacrush blender is disconnected from the power supply. Never attempt to touch the cutting assembly when the blender is in operation.
9. Never operate the Vitacrush without the container securely in place. Never
operate the Vitacrush with an empty container.
10.Do not use on the stove or let the cord come into contact with any hot surface.
11.Keep hands and utensils out of the container while using the Vitacrush to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons or damage to the unit. A plunger is supplied to aid in getting the contents of the container from the sides to the blades.

12.WARNING: Blade is sharp. Please handle carefully.
DO NOT try to remove blade while the container is sitting on the motor base.
DO NOT operate with loose, nicked or damaged blade replace immediately.
CAUTION keep all utensils AWAY FROM the drive socket and blender blades during operation. Metal utensils will damage blades.
DO NOT place container into drive socket if blender motor is operating.
DO NOT rock the blender during operation.
13.When blending liquids, especially hot liquids, ensure that the lid is on securely and the lid insert is in place to reduce the risk of spillage and injury. Hot liquids build up steam pressure and special care must be given when removing the container
and lid from the blender that the contents don’t splatter and burn the operator.
Keep hands, arms and face away from the lid insert to prevent possible scalding.
DO NOT start blending hot liquids on HIGH speed. Always start processing hot liquids on LOW speed then increase while the machine is running.
14.Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any way. Return the appliance to Semak Australia. (Manufacturer) or its Authorised Service Agent for repair. Do not attempt to repair the machine.
15.For Safety reasons and to avoid maintenance by unskilled persons, the appliance should always be returned to Semak Australia. (Manufacturer) for adjustment or repair if required.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: VCE1500B & VCE1050B
The Semak Vitacrush chops, blends and mixes quickly and efficiently. Use it to make sauces, soups, purees etc.
1. Before connecting to electrical outlet, wash the container and its parts and also,
wipe the blender base with a damp cloth.
2. Ensure that the power supply is also switched off before connecting to the
electrical outlet. Turn the power ON.
3. Turn the blender ON at the switch found at the rear left hand side of the machine.
4. Place the container on the blender. Ensure that the lid and insert are properly
located on the container. If a sound cover is being used, close the sound cover before operating the blender.
5. Choose a program e.g. 45, 75 or 105 seconds (timed) or select a speed eg. High
Medium or Low. Press the appropriate button. Note if a speed has been selected pressing the pulse button alters the speed of the motor to vary the blending action.
6. Motor cuts off automatically once the timer reaches the desired blending cycle. If
using the speed option simply repress the button selected and the blender will stop. To prevent splashing, do not lift the container lid or open the sound cover whilst still in operation.
7. When mixing or blending hot ingredients, the following precautions should be
observed:
Take care not to lift the lid without checking if pressure has built up in the
container. Release pressure slowly by turning the lid insert a little allowing steam to escape and taking care not to burn fingers.
Do not stand directly over container of hot ingredients when removing the lid. If necessary allow to stand so that steam escapes slowly.
8. Do not leave the blender unattended or leave contents in the container when not
in operation.
9. The blender is overload protected. If the motor gets too hot it will cease to
operate. Allow the blender to cool down then reset the overload switch by pressing the button located on the bottom right hand side of the rear of the appliance.
10.If the overload is tripped it may be necessary to modify how or what you are blending e.g. Reduce the amount being blended to smaller amounts or reduce the time selected or add more liquid. Seek advice if necessary.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Always unplug the Vitacrush blender from the power source before cleaning. The unit is easiest to clean by placing water in the container immediately after completing the blending task and running the blender to dislodge blended mixture. Repeat with fresh water until the water runs clear. Wash with a HACCP detergent and rinse clean for more stubborn soiling.
A HACCAP sanitizer may be used to minimize bacterial contamination. Do not place Vitacrush containers in a dishwasher. Clean motor wiping with a barely damp cloth only. Never immerse the motor end, plug or cord in water or any other liquid. The bearing should be lubricated occasionally with a HACCP approved food grade
lubricant by placing a couple of drops at the base of the cutting unit and drive shaft. Spin the blade to assist in the dispersion of lubricant into the bearing.
