How to use the Danfoss VLT 2800 Keypad

• Press + or – Button to view different operating data

• Press Quick Menu Button and then + Button to locate the required parameter in the Quick

Set-up Menu (Parameter number will ‘Flash’ when in this mode)

• Press Change Data Button to open options (NOTE: When Data is a large figure, it will be shown as a row of dashes until Change Data Button is pressed).

• Press + or – Button to raise or lower data. (NOTE: the longer you hold the Button in the faster data will change).

• Press Change Data Button to store data

• Press + or – Button to move to next parameter or Press Quick Menu Button to go back to

Display Mode

• To gain access to all other parameters in the Extended Menu, Press Quick Menu and + Button together this takes you into the first parameter 001

• To get to the required Parameter, Press + Button, (remember the longer you hold in the button the quicker it will run through the parameters).

• Press Change Data Button, Data for that parameter will now flash

• Press + or – Button to raise or lower Data

• Press Change Data Button to store

• Press + or – Button to move to next Parameter or Quick Menu Button to go back to

CHANGING FROM AUTO TO HAND

• From the ‘Display Mode’ Press Change Data Button and ‘Auto’ will appear in the display. Pressing the + Button will change the display to ‘Hand’

• Display will then show ‘HA 00.0 then Press + or – Button to raise or lower Frequency.

• Parameter 020 could block the choice of mode

• Terminal 27 needs to be on unless Parameter 013 has been changed.

MANUAL INITIALISATION

• Disconnect mains, wait for Drive to discharge, Hold in Quick Menu and + and Change Data Buttons together then reapply mains and release the Buttons.

The Frequency Converter should now be back at factory settings.
